Freedom Caucus kept derailing a whole bunch of shit the rest of the republicans wanted to do, not to mention John McCain and his departing "Fuck You" vote on Obamacare.

People seem to be under the delusion that the parties are singular, 100% conforming entities - they aren't. They're made up of factions and those factions don't always see eye to eye with each other.

Pelosi had to bribe the Progressive faction in the House just to get the speaker position - they were set to vote against her and try to get someone else in unless she ponied up some of what they wanted (mostly committee assignments and some other power plays) . Similarly on the right, the Freedom Caucus (a bunch of hyper-conservatives) consistently vote against shit most other republicans want for not being conservative enough (as do their senate counterparts, who had just enough in numbers to block a bunch of shit).

And on top of all that, you get individual people like Manchin and Senema who will stall and block shit to try and get some concessions and flex their muscles.

Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.

Sounds like we shouldn’t expect things like 2020 committees or impeachment’s proceedings against Biden if the right managed to take things.

Shit like that is EXACTLY what you can expect. Sham hearings and much ado about nothing while real shit continues to fall apart. It’s what the Dems have done the past few years, what the GOP did before that, and it’s what you’ll continue to see. The 67 votes required to convict and remove a President from office aren’t going to magically appear next year so any Biden Impeachment hearings are going to be as much of a LARP as the Trump Impeachments were.

I checked both my Ballots, my name and address are the same, but some numbers/letters and barcodes don't match each other. I think both ballots were procssed at different times and the latter was accidently sent.

If anything the GOP isn't stupid. Hopefully some smart bloke inside the GOP has taken a read of the situation and realized this. A large plurality will not accept the election results in 2024. If the GOP loses its election fortification. If the GOP wins it's Russia/china/Brazil/boogieman of the week.
