They made Asher get a nipple piercing very much against his will, and yet people wondered why at the time he immediately had a huge drop in mental stability. Imagine getting a very sensitive and private area of your body painfully used for views and clicks.
And I thought pressing on Gavin’s alcoholism was a dick move.

Could this event be the actual end of RT? Seems like everyone is piling on at this point.
I’m not holding my breath. Too many times this has been teased, and not only that there’s a new episode of Death Battle coming out tomorrow, and RWBY is still primed for V9 (even if it doesn’t have a release date yet).

I don't know about the actual end, but for a company that was already deemed to be performing poorly enough to fire key, popular members and an entire department, immediately getting raked over the coals in every direction over -isms definitely has the parent company weighing if the liability is worth it.

And now someone who was really screwed over.

Sounds like the guy had a good idea and pitch, but management recognised he didn't have the skills to make it happen. Sucks when this happens, crying like a little bitch won't change reality though.

Also sounds like he gave the IP to the company under good faith and companies doing what companies do, legally took it as their own.

Guy should have got a copyright lawyer on it before presenting, lesson learnt I guess.

People prolly left when they saw how fucking ugly that model is.

And damn, I'm pretty sure DSP garnered more views when he whacked off on stream lmfao.
thats the thing about kdin even back when he was a lets player all his friends were the draw kdin himself is very dull and at times can come off as kind of a cunt i mean hell the second he got hired by RT he went nuts banning everyone on stream who referred to him by tatsudoshi and blocking and banning all his friends and moderators before nuking his whole past on the internet (aside from whats been archived)

honestly if he did this to get more viewers he is really not that smart. everyone knows the view boost only sticks for like a couple weeks maybe a month at most. unless you keep up the drama or do something worth caring about its a bit of a waste imo that nightmare of a vtuber model also does not help.

but overall yeah RT is fucked at this point either way but then again who knows people were ready to burn blizzard to the ground now all of a sudden everyones cool with taking paid sponsorships to play overwatch 2.

This tweet got a laugh out of me

Cow Chop only got worse after Trevor left. I had a conversation with both Asher and Matt (the Skateboarder dude) on reddit, and their stories both had the same problems being their main talking points. Apparently James saw the writing on the wall and chose to leave at the right time.
Whether James left or not they had already decided the end of the year was the end of the channel.

Didn't Brett mock Asher's mental health as well and he had a breakdown at some point? That and the podcast episode where they dissed him were so fucking scummy, no idea why people don't talk about that more when it happened. Not surprising considering Brett was from RoosterTeeth and got them to sign on with them, he always was a prick. Funny how even Trevor says how stupid the LA move was, supposedly hurting for money yet they move to one of the most expensive places in the West lol.
Not only did Brett mock Asher for his mental health, but Brett, Lindsey, and Aleks shit on him for not being interested in dating fat chicks, which was also on a podcast that carried over to offscreen. They can complain about Asher not showing up for work and editing at home, but it was their fault. Both Asher and Matt claimed that most ideas got shit on and were told the audience "didn't want to see couch gameplay anymore." But yeah, the move to LA was stupid. Notice how everybody but Brett and Aleks moved back to Colorado except for James, he moved to another state and basically cut off contact with Brett and Aleks?

James leaving when the channel was still active meant he could get his share of the money from cashing out. That's why they were mad at him near the end and Jakob claimed he "betrayed them."

I imagine Matt sitting at home eating his 5th donut of the hour while scrolling through all his friends and coworkers stabbing each other and embarrassing themselves before he eventually just goes, "Wow, this is wild. Anyway, I guess I'm gonna go play some Mario Kart."
Personally, I hope that in-between shoveling twinkies down his throat, he's cursing Kdin for making everything about him and being a whiny faggot.
