Part of it too, is that these people often have self-esteem issues, and this is their attempt at escaping themselves and running away from their problems by trying to larp as somebody else.If only "learn to embrace it" could have come before the expensive, painful, permanently-numbing operation.
Living on the Internet gives these people a false impression of how often your genitals are the focus of your (or anyone else's) attention, in the average day. These troons would be happier if they spent the time and money on a non-troon hobby; that's parts for a project car or a Serger or I guess a bunch of RGB computer peripherals. Or if they can't obsess on anything but gender, spent the money on well-designed clothing and gym/salon.
Not all trans people are AGPs or fujoshis, a fair number of them are people who would have had their psychological issues manifest themselves as eating disorders or anxiety problems. Now that transing is in style, it has become a popular form of cope for unhappy people.
