Nexpo/YT Horror Channels - Do they all suck

Only female youtuber I enjoy and like getting videos from is Izzyzz but she covers internet and nostalgic topics not horror. Internet Investigator is okayish but if someone better covered the stuff she did I wouldn’t watch her videos anymore.
Izzy's fun but I have to put her videos on the background. Every time I look over at the screen I have to wonder where the goth clown came from.

Does this even count as horror or? I just watched this video:

I can move this to a different thread if it doesn’t fit but I found this documentary fascinating. At the end it made me wonder was it just a bunch of trolling to get money from people and make them look bad? Are the creators racist or are they just good at grifting and did it in a way to amuse themselves? Just the whole phenomenon and fine line between “hate” and “trolling” was interesting.
I'll give it a watch, thanks for linking.
It's a shame that so many of otherwise well-researched documentaries on internet stuff still need to portray 4chan as le big scary, when the site has been completely neutered. I lolled at the "4chan trolling white supremacist dogwhistles" in the intro and the "expert of internet culture, 4chan, and trolling". My favorite 4chan board is /an/, and I only adopt white cats.
:trump:

I don't get why he called Junji Ito "the master of horror though. He really just is another run of the mill manga artist, "great and creative artist, autistic writer".
his mangas are the kind of stuff that finds it easy to go viral online , thats pretty much it. Anything that is popular online is automatically deemed the best.

Oh yeah I should have mentioned I found the hyping up of /pol/tards as the ultimate evil to be cringe. Besides that the ending made me wonder what the point was? To troll rich people? Subliminal messages don’t actually affect people so was it grifting to take the money and make others look stupid? I don’t know but it left me fascinated and I love learning about symbolism and “hidden meanings.”

I personally could not stand his timesix narration, or his 'ironic' thumbnail jokes. I was surprised when I realized the Maverick Files had the same narrator, he carries himself way better on that channel.
I'm sorry if this has been mentioned here before, but he's doing greentext readings again on a new channel.

While I'm not the biggest fan of greentext readings, it's still nice background noise to me.

It sort of reminds me that I was watching Disaster Breakdown's latest video and I quite enjoy his content. He covers airplane and train disasters. I believe he has been mentioned one or two times in this thread.

I go down to the comments because his latest video was about pilots snorting coke and everyone called him Chloe. So I go to Twitter and found out it's a troon.

Holy shit this. Everyone portrays 4chan as this big, scary place where only "le ebik haxxxorz" can perform insane trolling campaigns and do anything when 99% of the time it's just gay shitposting, bots, and glowniggers with the occasional interesting leak or post here or there. Not to mention FUCK JANNIES :deagleleft:

People will try to make 4chan look like a dark and foreboding place and then you get posts like this

People who act like /pol/ or /b/ is how the entire website acts make me lol. Each board is its own flavor of retarded how do people not realize that still.

The same reason they treat Kiwifarms as a monolith hivemind. They don't want to look at each board for themselves and change their preconceived notions about the site.

I find women with Scottish accents ridiculously hot. But somehow, Internet Investigator manages to be a complete turn-off. The content and subject matter are solid, but she talks in what sounds like completely monotone run-on paragraphs with no inflection or emphasis. It's like she's reading from a script that has no line breaks or punctuation and it's really hard to listen to.

theres a reason why its areed to keep /pol/ and /b/ in said boards, that way the extreme autism stays (somewhat) contained.

Gonna briefly sperg about YouTube thumbnails because I cannot stand when horror/crime types put their dumb mug making a surprised or shocked or whatever face in.

It must be some algorithm appeasement thing because That Chapter did it for a few episodes and maybe got shit on for it, so he reverted back to putting the people actually involved in the story.

Save that shit for vlogs and react videos.
