What's funny is NATO basically did what Britain and France failed to do against Germany in 1938...call the aggressor's bluff. Had the Allies defended Czechoslovakia against Germany, Hitler would have never been able to wage his wars of aggression.

So Putin tried the same thing but this time around people weren't intimidated. Now he's stuck in a war he's losing, with tens of thousands dead and more maimed and massive losses of equipment, a crippled and decaying economy, and is a complete pariah that will never command any respect again.

What's funny is that you're historically braindead because Germany completely defeated allied forces in Norway, Belgium, The Netherlands and then France. You can tell me all day how the French/British had better X but they relied on outdated forms of communication for their tanks and troop movement (banners, mailmen and pigeons, lmao)

Allied nations were also predictable and ponderous in both politics and warfare because they were paranoid about casualties and worst of all, all German tanks had radios while the Allies didn't.

It was not exactly unusual to see Stalin use whatever he got from eastern Germany to do the same job for a different master. Otto Skorzeny worked for the Israelis in spite of being an unrepentant nazi. All you'd get from not using this talent for making a bad career choice is them going to the hands of those willing to hire them.

Let's just put it like this, if all of the above were captured by the Soviet Union rather than the West, they'd be felling lumber in Siberia, not given cushy military positions in a new defensive alliance. Only captured nazi scientists were given an opportunity to work in their fields, and under strict supervision. Everyone else was put to work felling lumber and rebuilding cities.
