The Republicans wanted the Democrats to find a way to remove Trump that would allow them the cover of legitimacy. Unfortunately for them, the Mueller Report was a total bust, and the Ukraine bribery trial was an absolute farce.

Having the Maga republicans spend all their energy on impeachment suits the Rinos just fine especially when they play Lucy with the football supporting it. Offering support if they support bill x, y and z to do Uniparty agenda.
There is no downsides to the Rinos to let the Maga Republicans go for it knowing it will die in the Senate (even if the Republicans take it. They aint getting enough an impeachment) a failed one might help Biden and be seen as good for the Rino faction. But no reason yo prevent it.
The only real risk is if enough Dems go rogue and decide they will support the impeachment to spotlight themselves for the 2024 election.

They'd also need to be careful of pissing off their constituents.
A lot of people would see impeaching Biden as revenge for shit the Dems pulled and wouldn't mind their pound of flesh.
By treating impeachment as a tool to get rid of any politician you don't like, the Dems made it so any president can be impeached for anything. They were warned about it, but they went forward anyway.
Fuck 'em. Run the impeachment shit. Let the RINO's spend favors and have to show their true colors by not carrying through. Let the Dems worry when they have to play by their own rules.
Then hold a commission about collusion with a foreign power and bring up the Dems on charges of helping Russia.

The idea of Stacey Abrams suggesting that abortions are good for inflation seems ghoulish if one thinks about it. When she pivoted towards the same climate change agenda, she’s essentially suggesting that killing babies and/or not having children is good for you so you don’t go broke in life.

Considering he spends half the year in the small town in Hawaii most of my family has roots in, I can tell you what he's doing exactly. Playing golf and pick up basketball with his high school buddies, paddleboarding and body-surfing on closed beaches, smoking a lot of those shitty Marlboro Lights (Jesus Christ, Barry, upgrade to Dunhills or Nat Shermans or another cigarette worthy of your income level and status) and staying the fuck away from cameras, because it's clear that him and Michelle basically live separate lives now.

Obama is kind of fucked in that he burnt his political capital to get Biden elected in 2020, in part because Biden is said to have shamed Obama/blamed him for Charlottesville, by claiming it would never have happened had Obama told Hillary to fuck off and renegged on his deal with her to secure the 2016 nomination for her and pushed for Biden instead.

2. Assassinating Bannon will just martyr him. Look at Andrew Breitbart; they straight up murdered him in retaliation for him destroying Anthony "Clinton heir apparent" Weiner's career by exposing him as a sexual predator and pedophile. Instead of ending him, they created a martyr and his underlings/apprentices have been tormenting the left for ages ever since then in retaliation.

The purge happened for a couple of related but separate reasons:
1. After 2004's humiliating loss, Howard Dean was installed as head of the DNC party apparatus and he launched the "50 State Initiative" which said that EVERY seat in Congress would be challenged and funded like they intended to win every seat in 2006, instead of selectively picking which seats they'd contest/defend depending on state/region/importance.
This meant running DINOs and this won the Democrats control over Congress in 2006. But it had the downside of electing DINOs, who were vulnerable for voting for Obamacare and the Obama bailouts. Meaning a good chunk of them got voted out of office in 2010, 2012, and 2014 when the GOP fully regained control over Congress.
2. Hillary was unofficially granted control over the DNC apparatus following the 2008 election, to ensure she didn't lose the nomination in 2016. Hillary installed puppets to run the DNC and had a hit list of everyone from Congressional levels to Governor levels, to state government levels, that supported Obama over Hillary in 2008 and she use the party apparatus to purge those folks via cutting off their funding from the DNC to run their re-election campaigns and worse, running primary opponents who WERE loyal to Hillary. This further purged the DNC of a lot of people.
3. In 2018, the Justice Democrats and Soros began targeting mid-level Democrats who were successors to the main Democrat leadership (who were untouchable) including Pelosi's heir apparent, with lunatic lefties. Which saw the rise of the AOC and the Squad and their ilk purging normies from the party which forced the top brass to stay on longer and made them vulnerable to extortion by power flexing that they could kill anyone via a primary challenge if they weren't ultra liberal.
