2. Hillary was unofficially granted control over the DNC apparatus following the 2008 election, to ensure she didn't lose the nomination in 2016. Hillary installed puppets to run the DNC and had a hit list of everyone from Congressional levels to Governor levels, to state government levels, that supported Obama over Hillary in 2008 and she use the party apparatus to purge those folks via cutting off their funding from the DNC to run their re-election campaigns and worse, running primary opponents who WERE loyal to Hillary. This further purged the DNC of a lot of people.

3. In 2018, the Justice Democrats and Soros began targeting mid-level Democrats who were successors to the main Democrat leadership (who were untouchable) including Pelosi's heir apparent, with lunatic lefties. Which saw the rise of the AOC and the Squad and their ilk purging normies from the party which forced the top brass to stay on longer and made them vulnerable to extortion by power flexing that they could kill anyone via a primary challenge if they weren't ultra liberal.

These, plus the DNC getting really, really assmad about the old guard Dems from my generation providing a constant pressure against them. We didn't just primary establishment darlings; we put grassroots pressure on the establishment's own low-level grunts (or poached them outright), aired their dirty laundry, and found Repub candidates willing to reach across the aisle and meet us halfway, and so on.

Nowadays I think most of them work for anti-establishment repubs.

When conservatives want to demonstrate the insane behavior of progressive extremists, they show videos of progressive extremists behaving insanely.

When progressive want to demonstrate the insane behavior of conservative extremists, they hire actors and have them act out scripted dramas in which the actors portray fictitious conservatives behaving insanely.

Then others cancel them. They know cancel culture is a thing, but weapons are more powerful if you can pretend they don't exist and force your enemy to ignore them.

Call out -> target them for cancel culture -> digital lynch mob does the rest.

These are literally the same people who will INSIST that Cancel culture isn't real and that it's just "consequences of your actions" or somesuch smug bullshit. (They'll also insist that Libs of TikTok and Project Veritas are white nationalist nazi terrorists for showing people what the left actually believes.)

See, Trump could do this. He'd A/B test a name that would completely destroy a lefty politician.

Biden and his handlers, convinced Trump is some sort of idiot, desperately want to do the same thing to him... but can't, because Trump was not, in fact, stupid and was fucking amazing at persuasion and manipulation. Ergo the constant attempts to making "MAGA" into a dirty word to try and turn it into the new "Nazi."

I'm convinced they're operating on the same playbook they tried to go after the Tea Party with, but it's not working this time cause MAGA got too big too fast, or they just aren't smart enough to understand how they killed the Tea Party. The only people who are against "Making America Great Again" are people who actually hate America, so they have an uphill battle to try and convince people that MAGA means something else.

Its a known fact that someone is typing this for Biden. Using MAGA nicknames for a different kind of MAGA like it’s a Star Wars movie is proof that no one takes this seriously except for already traumatized radicals that were already radicalized to begin with.

He’s not really scaring anyone having a script writer do this for him.

I think its the centralization of social media like facebook/twitter that can organize the mob.

Its weird cause Cancel culture does all the shit people accuse the farms of doing.

But for example I was thinking of that UCLA student that made the "ching chongs ching and chong too loudly in the library"

I don't think it was the Dems that killed the Tea Party so much as it was the DC "consultant"/grifter class taking the inexperienced neophytes for a ride and syphoning off all the fundraising money instead of it being put to productive uses.

To add to this thought: The Tea Party had the nebulous goal of small government wants. With no sole leader, it was easy for said grifters to subvert. With MAGA, there's Trump at the head. Much harder to lead the movement's people astray with someone they can look to.

Anyone else remember that ad in Virginia during Northam's run with the eeevil pickup truck with conservative stuff on it doing its best to run down a bunch of poor PoC kids?

Yeah, its stuff like that that really ticks people off. Best part is the Northam campaign did their best to distance themselves from the ad, despite the fact the group who made it and aired it was listed as having made an in-kind contribution to his campaign...
