This is probably the closest thread to this so I'll post it here
There is drama between Troll Trader/TTCombat and Secret Weapon that's been interesting
SW lost $45k in kickstater money (wanting to produce game-ready painted bases) during the pandemic almost shut down. They sent emails to companies asking them to buy them out so they could keep working.
TT instead offered them $10k a month in licensing fees to allow TT to produce and sell SW bases in the UK.
This was agreed and the money sent, but SW asked for $10k more before the second month which was also sent. A third request for money was sent during that second month which prompted TT to ask SW for their accounts, to see where all this money was being lost and SW was found to have "inappropriate spending" including a very high salary for the owner, Justin McCoy so TT cancelled their contract as it was clear that it wasn't going to work out for anyone.
Justin now claims that TT never had the license to manufacture any of the bases and that it never entered into any agreement with them, despite having sent the master casts for TT to work with and TT showing proof of the payments to them. When asked on the kickstarter where all the money had gone SW will only reply with "operations". Additionally he says that TT claim to own the IP of all of SWs bases and that this is the real reason he can't send any of the bases out to backers. TT has denied this repeatedly.

I may do a full autistic writeup on this but I'm not sure if anyone is actually interested. I'm just enjoying the spergouts from Justin on the Kickstarter page claiming that he's going to sue TT but doing nothing.
