There is no good alternative here, and by implicating the Guardian as a party to this, it should be easy to verify if they know about this and know Natalie. Worse, the only way he can not look like a liar is get someone else to play along with this ruse.

Any other option makes him a charlatan.
This makes me worry he might have a stooge at the Guardian. Also not ruling out that some asskisser jumps to his defense and says he totally had that 3-way call and that Natalie is real. Whether that's a lie or not will matter little as John then uses that as "proof" that Natalie is a real person and says the subject is closed for debate.

I mean that won't stop anyone from calling bullshit but it'll satisfy most people on the fence and most of the his toadies.

The Guardian thing is so out of left-field because she just keeps saying that they approached her to do an interview with Natalie - that doesn't mean that they know anything about Natalie that we don't, just that they have also seen her claim that Natalie exists. It's pure desperation.

Gruainda has a million retarded bloggers on their online half that have nothing to do with their real newspaper part. It wouldn't be shocking if Wu knows some tranny Agruinda "commentisfree" blogger who would agree to go along with some scam.

This is one of the main problems with real newspapers setting up online parts, is that you end up with Internet attention whores claiming to be representing your brand.

The Agruinda has fallen into this in a really big way.

The fact that she specifically named the Guardian among the vague "hundreds" is all the confirmation I need to say she's got a connection there. Although her unwillingness to mention a specific person is odd. Maybe they aren't exactly comfortable potentially losing a job just to play along with an insane tranny?

It would be funny if some cad were to create a fake 'Natalie' account and start answering questions. You can't get in trouble for impersonating somebody who doesn't exist, right?

Creating a Natalie O'Brien Twitter account and listing the profession as "Harassment Manager" would be funny. Never mention Wu or GiantSpaceKat by name. Just make veiled comments about what her day to day job is like as a harassment manager along with re-tweeting Wu every once in awhile. It would drive Wu insane and as long as you don't mention any names it would not be taken down.

Like many "respectable" newspapers that have adopted online parts, the online parts generally don't pay much or anything at all. They just give out these blogger slots to people they have some reason to think will produce popular content, and then they pay them little or nothing.

Think of the Huffington Post, except instead of literally nothing propping up the reputation of the Huffington Post, you have an actual newspaper with a reputation.

This gives clickbaiters an angle any time one of these glorified bloggers does something outright retarded, endorses a Nazi, says all men should be killed, whatever.

"The Guardian did this!" "The Washington Post did this!"

Propping up John Flynt's fraud would be one of these awesome events. So I hope it happens.

Early in 2015, a friend of mine wound up sending several emails to Giant Spacekat to ask various questions about how they got started, their history, etc. Mostly innocuous shit they were looking into regarding the company, really. Most of the time, these emails were responded to by an email form-letter - and usually, this was from Natalie. Similar was reported by several Kiwis who contacted Giant Spacekat with the intentions of trolling or honeypotting.

An interesting quirk, however, is that the response mails seemed to be coming from a mobile account.

Even more curious: on a few occasions, this email account had a phone number attached to it.

Guess who it belonged to?

Frank Wu

I find it weirdly fascinating that Brianna is using the same hackneyed tactics she did some 15-17 years ago without being able to take into account the fact information is now vastly more traceable, and that in this day and age someone without a digital footprint of any description is absolutely bizarre.

The irony on top is that now she really is the public figure she aspired to be when she founded SOCCON, people know her name and even her own lolcow wiki article notes that, if she didn't behave in certain ways she'd actually be one of those notable success stories. Every so often I cease to be amused by her antics and instead pity her.

Now, we've noticed that Wu has her own blogging account over at the Gran... bets that Nats article will appear there under Brianna's account?

Natalie O'Brien, Prime Minister of Triggering and Sodium Exports.

I'm more surprised that someone mentioned "The Guardian" and "reputable news source" in the same sentence. They're closer to those tabloid papers you see near the checkout aisle in supermarkets. In fact I can see her on the front page of the Daily Caller with the headline "Wu Triggered By Salt Overload! Has Weeks To Live!"

I'm hoping that just maybe John's connection either doesn't have as much clout as Johnny hope for or that they're connected to some bullshit that John wants to avoid.
The real problem for Flynt is that there is no one he can just trot and claim to be Natalie. Once the Internet has a picture, they'll trace it back to the real person.
This is why you don't give your head mates a real name and backstory.
That's actually the kind of mistake I expected John to make early on when people started questioning him about Natalie. The fact that he didn't just resort to flashing a picture of some random woman he got off the net shows that there is some sort of "cunning" there. And it would not surprise me in the least if Frank was the one who acted as the voice of "reason". I know we all like to speculate the he's some hen-pecked little man (which he is) that only speaks when spoken to, but he's savvy enough to handle the taxes and keep things, more or less, above the level. This Natalie business was all John's idea and I'm betting that after he fucked things up with one lie after another Frank was and is the one who's trying to un-fuck things.

Really, if something seems to be somewhat cleverly done I'm betting it was done be Frank.
