  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
I will just buy a gift card and send you the info because holy shit does the world want you broke and isolated.
I've gotten one for Josh and will get another soon. They're super easy to procure.

Which stores in the US carry non-Vanilla giftcards? All the Walgreens and CVS have Vanilla only brand cards.

Maybe this is a better place to post my issue, but I tried to send some BAT to the website last week through the Brave browser, but the website isn't configured to receive tips from my custodial wallet; I use Gemini. The amount I tried to send was pretty small, but I know every bit can help this forum.

Thanks!

That is an error with Brave which has existed for years. It sometimes says the site is not verified. It is.

I see it's verified as well, with the checkmark and all, but when I try to send a one-time tip it just goes to a pending state. I'm wondering if it has something to do with Gemini itself because of the custodial wallet error, but I may be overlooking something obvious.

edit:
I've looked a bit further into it and saw this from the FAQ about verification with custodial wallets.
Is Kiwi Farms only verified with Uphold or is it verified with Gemini as well?

I received this notification today, but transfers still aren't going through for me and are still read as pending with the same error message about how it's not verified with the custodial wallet. Would it be better if I switched to Uphold?

I don't know dude! Contact Brave! It works for most people!

Like I'm sorry but what the fuck do you think I know about this?

@Null, are you able to retrieve the money that is given to you via Odyssee when your livestream runs?
Or any other of these sites?

As a sperg who has gone out of their way to find good gift cards, I tell you it's a pain. Be sure to read the fine print on the back of the packaging, I've yet to find a card that just works. SecurePay won't work for Null either and is dicey for online use in general apparently.

If you know a cryptobro who is willing to trade you some crypto for cash then try that.

as a rule, I consider any form of dickriding admins or mods cringe, but Josh has definitely earned his "Congratulations Shinji" moment for sticking through this madness. even if they do get the site shut down now, the amount of time and effort they've wasted on their e-crusade, and the amount of asshurt they have inflicted upon themselves is hilarious.

o7, Dear Feeder.

This. I really wanna throw in some support, but every card I'm seeing is Vanilla and I don't trust bitcoin sites or Privacy.com. Does just a regular gift card work? Does it have to be a prepaid debit card only?
Yes. Not Odysee BAT tips, just their superberries.
I donated a cash tip to Odysee. Hope Null can actually get those.

Even when I went to the sketchiest convenience stores in the most drug-infested parts of town, the prepaid visa cards they had required all kinds of onerous steps before I could activate them, and it was no better than what they sold at 7-11 or Wawa. Unless Josh starts taking Bed Bath and Beyond gift cards or something that's easy to activate I don't think that route is going to be feasible.

I ended up going with XMR (Monero) because it was what Null said offers the most privacy. Here's the steps I went through:

1. Register with Kraken. I think I had to show them a picture of my driver's license to actually transfer funds so this is a bit of a pain.
2. Get a local monero wallet. I just downloaded the gui wallet and it starts and syncs a node automatically.
3. Buy XMR through Kraken
4. Transfer said XMR to my personal wallet
5. Transfer funds from my wallet to Null

I think it takes 48 hours for the XMR to become available the first time. From there I just repeat steps 3-5 whenever I want to donate again and it takes 10 or 15 minutes.

Also, for the record, I've spent BTC from coinbase on private bittorrent trackers and other illegal stuff and they never seemed to care, but the one time I try to send to Josh they give me a bunch of shit and un-verified my account. Total BS.

I have just brought a prepaid travelcard with $50 on it but upon arrival you have to do a chip and pin transaction to activate it. Arrrrrgh! If any other British Kiwis have donated what card did you use?
Am going to stomp into town tomorrow and try and sort or perhaps buy a pint of milk to activate and then try and donate the rest.
