I remember a while back because of the difficulties it was better to just tip whatever I had saved up a month. Is that still the thing to do, or is saving up for a bigger tip a better option now?
With BAT? Just send it whenever. Automate it.

What's your merchant fee like on a privacy.com card transaction of $20? In other words how much do I send you so that you net $20 for my True & Honest Fan flare @Null ?

PayPal crypto a reasonable way?
Depends on if they've pre-blocked all the Farms addresses, or will lock your account if you send to one of them like some of the other crypto companies.

Just tried, but I just bought and it says 3-5 days before I actually have any crypto.

Ah shit, I'm really going to have to learn how to do this correctly I guess. I have a weird thing about crypto.
ok so I bought some BTC and managed to get it to my own wallet and send it, now I wait to see if I just spent & sent it correctly.
either that or I've just wasted some cash

From my initial payment with fiat to moving the BTC from the exchange to a electum wallet & sending it to null it worked out my fees cost a few dollars.

I will probably spend some money and hold some crypto of my own in the future should be fun watching $35 turn into $10 over a few years

Sent £25ish of XMR. I'd recommend the monero GUI wallet to anyone wanting to hold XMR, a very good 'for dummies' solution
Thanks for everything as always Null

Realized I hadn't sent any brave shekels in about 2 months, corrected this. Thanks for busting your ass so we can be spergs, Josh. Its only 16BAT but I just don't do much Internettin' these days.

I finally got around to trying to directly send BTC from my paypal 'Wallet' after my payment to buy the BTC finally cleared. Says it was sent, so I guess it worked, Paypal account not blocked yet.

Brave's showing both KF and MATI as being unverified creators for me at the moment. It was working fine last month so I don't know what's going on.

Probably has to do with the changes they made to the BAT system.

If I am in the EU, how do I pay without doxing myself or using crypto?

Privacy.com asks me to confirm I am in the US, which my bank card will promptly disprove.
There is no such thing as anonymous visa cards around here that I know off.

Is making a donation through Gumroad the only way?

Are there gift cards that could be found in the EU?

These changes to Brave Rewards will help us combat abuse so that we can better deliver on our promises to legitimate users and creators. They will also allow us to focus our efforts on building a more decentralized future by eliminating our current centralized “virtual BAT” system.
To begin earning and accruing BAT for Brave Ads, you will need to connect a custodial account to your Brave Rewards profile with upcoming version 1.48. Brave currently works with three custodial account provider partners: Gemini, Uphold, and bitFlyer in Japan. Requiring a custodial account gives us a place to send you your BAT earnings, and allows us to eliminate our centralized “virtual BAT” system (see “Sunsetting virtual BAT” below for more).
If you’d just like to support creators as part of a more private Web, you can do so without ever connecting a custodial account by opting into Brave Rewards and using the new “creator support only” experience. A share of the ad revenue will be earmarked for creators and distributed by Brave as part of the monthly payout to verified creators. If you want to give more, connecting a custodial account will allow you to use BAT you’ve purchased elsewhere to support creators in the Brave Rewards ecosystem, and will also unlock the Tips feature.
Let's see: "combating abuse", can only give through a third party that requires your real identity, and the only exception to this is for "verified creators", which KF was until just recently...

@Null, I think Brickface has been making some more "girl talk" calls.
