If he wanted he could install the council tomorrow but he is stalling for time to see if the dem lose to pick less poisoned organizations instead of the glorified dem think tanks like the ADL, if the GOP wins expect him saying that he got a nice conversation with them about ways to improve the site without giving them any position inside or just leave them as consultants to shield himself of the progs by throwing their names every time they get angry

The idea of pulling an Eve Ensler/Fury Road does make me chuckle. Fury Road was mostly about what failures women are when shit gets real.

As other have said, they have been trying to stuff this particular piece of legislation into any package they can think of for years.
So is this a new instance, maybe, maybe not. But it highlights the importance of combing through these bill with a fine tooth.

It's rare that I say it, but I agree with you.
This speech is the Democrats' last ditch effort to increase ANY voter turnout without force. All they're doing is making people more upset.
I feel they're done after midterms. Sure, they'll try everything possible to save face but the writing is on the wall. Elon Musk fact checking the President's tweets about the current state of the country is case in point.
