I hate the Internet and the people who own it

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
I keep seeing people claim clearnet is working fine for them in the US with no VPN. But Ive tried every VPN server I can in the US with no luck. Maybe im naive, but it seems like if T1 providers have actually dropped the farms they should have made a statement by now.
I'm on satellite net which routes my antenna to a datacenter in Ohio. My physical location is in the continental US. I live a mile from the nearest cable internet line, so here I am on shitnet. Oddly the farms is online. Perhaps the provider tries for another exit point if a site doesn't respond to one.
I've seen nobody else that is on complete total clearnetnet without tor, a VPN, or a pseudo VPN (I'm not sure what it is, but that's what's been described).

Also I CAN connect on tor, but old fashioned satellite net is on geosynchronous satellites and has a theoretical minimum ping of around a second. I'm very glad clearnet is working for me.

The Limburg server in germany and brazil seems to be the only 2 options that work for me now

Currently in the US. Ironically, using Cloudflare's 1.1.1.1 on mobile is working great for me right now. Not sure if it has to do with my physical location or not.

Reporting in from eastern KKKlanada. I've had no issues whatsoever accessing the farms in a normal manner since clearnet returned yesterday. Long-Gone-Dong Fong can get fucked.
We're back up? I'll give it a shot over cellular in a few

So, the locations which do not work for my VPN:
USA
Japan
New Zealand (they still haven't recovered from Josh's correspondence)

But Sweden and the Netherlands do.

Maybe that idea about blocking UK IPs, if they are ever instituted due to UK's crackdown on fun and free speech, should be extended to US IPs too.

The mills of the gods grind slowly, but they grind exceedingly fine.

Gotta love how company's can just outright refuse to route to a website for no fucking reason, truly amazing
It's not "companies." We could easily cope with that and have. It's basic infrastructure being fucking broken at a fundamental level.

Remember that net neutrality shit? How we said if that doesn't exist, and traffic isn't all treated equally, shit like this could happen? Well, golly gee, it's happening.

Try the Opera browser and their free quasi-VPN proxy.
That's what I'm doing.

I still don't see a pattern to this mess. Do we have some data on whether it's always the same ISPs or the same upstreams?

I guess Null knows more, but probably isn't willing to reveal too much, in case this is really the troons' doing ...

Good to know that's working for people. Does that opera VPN put you in another country or is it US based?
Everything's working fine for me over a NL VPN or TOR.
