He was never a good artist. A novelty at best. He did the same "Unit card" close-up of primarily cyborg/40k looking characters with such little uniqueness to them that it was basically, well, a novelty. "Yeah I got a strype haha", not actual art.

I mean his claim to fame has always been vaguely amazonian, big titty girls. There is no quality involved here, so long you got a basic shape that looks like a human(oid), and big (hyper) honkers, you'll draw in furry $$$.

Also lmao I have no idea how one fits into that.

No. Strype's claim to fame was the complex robot/armor/gun designs and muscular men. The hyper titties only became more prominent once other artists who could do the same thing but cost less rose to prominence. Hyper titties was the beginning of his coomer life.

This. Earlier in his career Strype drew an ungodly amount of characters in detailed 40K-style armor, in a comicbook style that was almost unheard of among furries at the time.

Did they get samey? Absolutely, the theme was basically unchanging, but at least there were different character archetypes to play with. Space Marines, Scouts, Techpriests, Psykers, etc. He then moved on to drawing mostly cyborgified versions of his clients' characters, amped up the tits even harder, and eventually started drawing exclusively females. So his shit got even more samey. I've said it before: this guy could have easily made it into the comicbook scene if his work ethic hadn't fallen down a pit full of weed-and-horsepiss.

Sure, there's plenty of IPs and styles in that vein, but he only did 40k. Like, period. An odd cyborg here and there. He'd actually make a good Fallout'ish/power armor type character. Would. Never did. Regardless; he had the skills to do better but stuck to what made him famous which I guess is a sign of his immense insecurity upon which tranny groomers capitalized. "Noo, cut it off, youll finally feel happy!"

...honestly, I feel that his work, even back then, could be improved somewhat.
This may be me being used to concept-style art, but I feel that Dave should have spent more work growing artistically.
Of course, the troon cult ook him before he could go that way; I just fel the need of pointing ou that aspect of his art.

You should not judge someone based on potential but by what they do. His art was always very boring and "safe" carried by decent rendering which even that has been lost in exchange for expediency yeah right. Consider his consistent negative attitude towards commissioners and their money with that and he was never a good artist.

While I commend Dave's sudden recommendation that his followers see a therapist... if his therapist were worth a damn they would have insisted that he, for the love of God and all that's holy, not get his dick chopped in the first place.

I already mentioned that Dave deserved this after manipulating Max into being transgender and castrating himself, bu the Catharsis Factor did not really kick in until I read these Tweets.

Honestly, I thought hat Dave's dilate phase would be far longer than even Max's.

Also, I find funny that Dave said that his brain was a scrambled egg after he praised the 'hatching' of 'eggs'.
