I’m gonna sperg for a minute - sperg to the extreme. I’m a gay progressive from NY. That sentence right there should say a lot. I came out almost 13 years ago. I saw where the LGBT community used to be, what it started to become, and where it is today.
Nothing, absolutely NOTHING, has black pilled me more about this shit, than the situation with the Farms. I was always a lurker and never really posted until the Keffals situation started up. I was a supporter of troons until I saw them use my former LGBT community’s bully pulpit to attack a gossip website. I was a supporter of the left until I watched the systematic downfall of free speech, using the institutions I trusted. I thought “fake news” was a conspiracy theory until I saw them patting themselves on the back, reporting lies and using that to create more articles to spread more lies. My whole world and everything I have believed in was literally shat on and blown up in my face, by my own “side.”
I no longer identify with the LGBT community. I am still a gay man, obviously, but not a community member. I no longer respect troons and their depraved, sex pest, bullshit. They are all sick and need help, but I’m done with the capitulation. I am still progressive but no longer identify with leftists or their bullshit discourse. They are all hypocrites and don’t know up from down.
I’m just fucking done. I don’t know where to go from here, but I have learned a valuable lesson. I will pick up the pieces and move on. They have created an enemy from the inside. People like me who know how they work and why they do what they do, are the most dangerous. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

This hit me right in the feels... It sucks being politically homeless, doesn't it? I wish there was a viable third party in the US, but there isn't and probably never will be. Thus the only viable solution is to take back control of the Democratic party from the insane people who have taken over in the course of the past decade.
It amazes me to no end that the Democrats are so fucking blind when it comes to the trans shit. The majority of independents and Republicans in no way, shape or form support this insanity, and without the support of independents, you don't win elections. Hell, for that matter, a significant minority of Democrats don't support this shit either.

This whole situation has absolutely destroyed any last vestige of trust I might have had in the media. I've been a member here since the second day the site was open, and it utterly disgusts me to see journos outright lie about the purpose of this website and the actions of its users. Discussing the antics of idiots online has been framed as outright terrorism. We have absolute proof that the account of Byuu's alleged suicide could not have happened as described, and yet every media outlet that has done a story on the Farms has uncritically accepted the idea that he did in fact kill himself. Chloe Sagal had a history of mental illness that long predated any thread posted on here, was struggling with homelessness (and alluded to that very fact in a statement right before self-immolating), and yet the media narrative is that "the evil Kiwis" were directly responsible for Chloe's death.
If one were to read the media's "reporting" about Kiwi Farms with no prior knowledge of who we are and what we do, one would come away believing that this is an exclusively alt-right website who's stated purpose is to harass transgender people into killing themselves, when nothing could be further from the truth. If people talking about the things that you say and do online, that you have put out into the world of your own volition, is enough to make you join the 41%, then you are entirely too fragile to be on the internet in the first place.
The idea that everyone has a right to say and do anything they want online without being subject to ridicule goes against the very spirit of the free speech, not to mention the entire recorded history of mankind. Laughter directed at the socially deviant has always been a feature of human societies, whether through codified or informal means. What we do here is just a 21st Century version of something that has always existed. And quite frankly, I haven't seen anybody on this website go to the extremes that the troon brigade has to utterly destroy people's lives through their mob tactics that have gotten people fired, harassed, and threatened with rape and murder simply for expressing ideas that until a decade ago were completely uncontroversial.
Much like every other totalitarian regime, the internal contradictions of the troon philosophy will eventually tear it apart from within, and people will eventually refuse to continue denying reality to assuage the feelings of a tiny minority of mentally ill individuals. The only question is how much more damage they can cause to society before that happens.
