He can have both though. That's why the Rinos are blowing smoke up his ass. Inflating his ego so that he goes "Fuck Florida. I want the presidency."
I won't ever put it past the GOP to piss victory down the toilet, but if he is on the card in 24 he will lose Florida, and you don't get to the White House as a republican without FloridaThat's why the Rinos are blowing smoke up his ass. Nigger, have you not seen what Biden's been doing for the past year and a half? He's not just overstepping the boundaries, he's taking a big giant shit on them.McConnell, while despicable in his own right, kept Trump in check from not overstepping his boundaries allowed for the Presidency.
>tfw actual medieval diseases come back because of illegalsThat's not panic. I'll call it panic when the bodies start stacking in the streets from TB and leprosy. We had cases of the former in my school as a kid from illegals.
Impatience is dangerous. He can have both though.
The GOP does not want Trump near the reins of power again - at some level 2020 would not have happened without support from both sides of the Uniparty.I won't ever put it past the GOP to piss victory down the toilet, but if he is on the card in 24 he will lose Florida, and you don't get to the White House as a republican without Florida
You think a veteran would let a greenhorn just completely dismantle a system on the same team?Nigger, have you not seen what Biden's been doing for the past year and a half? He's not just overstepping the boundaries, he's taking a big giant shit on them.

BUILD. THE. FUCKING. WALL.
The Federalist Society people I speak to all want anyone besides Trump to run. One has argued to me that 2024 is DeSantis' chance, and if he doesn't take it now he'll end up missing the zenith of his political career. But of course, they're almost entirely institutional conservatives closer to Paul Ryan than Rand Paul. It just speaks volumes to where the focus of the conservative intellectual backbone is right now.I don't quite buy it either. That being said, while Baris and I don't agree about how deliberate and malicious it is, the House and Senate GOP leaders have been shopping for someone other than Trump since they view him as a big risk. DeSantis is definitely their first pick.
even if he wouldn't piss off A Florida Voter by running, he's still about exactly six years away from ready for primetimeDeSantis' chance, and if he doesn't take it now he'll end up missing the zenith of his political career.
Hence why I think it would be one of the top 4 dumbest life choices I have ever seen, like Florida should go very very red on Tuesday so Desantis should have a free ride for his last term as Governor and then can Truffle Shuffle into the White House if things don't go to absolute shit. What the hell can the GOP say to make him go "Oh I will give ALL Of that up for a 0% chance to win in 2024"Impatience is dangerous.
Desantis is 44 he will be 50 if he Runs after Trump's second term. The Federalist Society people I speak to all want anyone besides Trump to run. One has argued to me that 2024 is DeSantis' chance, and if he doesn't take it now he'll end up missing the zenith of his political career
That's retarded. In a Trump second term Desantis could cozy up to the Presidency. A Biden win would have him ending his governorship as the opposition during an absolute hellscape. The Federalist Society people I speak to all want anyone besides Trump to run. I agree, as to pissing of Florida voters. It would anger me.even if he wouldn't piss off A Florida Voter by running, he's still about exactly six years away from ready for primetime
If Trump runs, he just needs to sit down and take his shot later. I actually think he's quite intelligent,. But if he doesn't see how much ruin the never Trump uniparty types will have wrought on the party by having DeSantis run, then I truly fear for the country. Let the new Republican backbench take form for another six years with people like Youngkin, DeSantis, Lake, etc. and everything works out better. That's retarded. I don't have an article on hand, but I remember that the Bubonic Plague, the black death itself popped up again in California because of illegal's years ago.>tfw actual medieval diseases come back because of illegals

Really? I read that it popped up in (I think) San Francisco because of how absolutely filthy the city is, so filthy that the rats that carry the disease are having a population boom, but maybe in other cities is being spread by illegals.I don't have an article on hand, but I remember that the Bubonic Plague, the black death itself popped up again in California because of illegal's years ago.
There might be truth to that but I heard it was L.A. that it showed up in.Really? He's never said that he's going to run. I think he's grifting people who want him to challenge Trump. It's driving me nuts that I can't remember where I saw/read it, But didn't at one point Desantis basically say at that he might run, But would not if it would be against Trump?
I WANT TO BELIEVEI think he's grifting people who want him to challenge Trump.
Just like how Sarah Palin's most notorious "gaffe" was actually an SNL skit. When progressive want to demonstrate the insane behavior of conservative extremists, they hire actors and have them act out scripted dramas in which the actors portray fictitious conservatives behaving insanely.
The GOP leadership is fine with losing if it means killing Trump and populism as a whole. The Trump vs. DeSantis primary ends with Trump winning.
I don't care how many of our fellow political autists prefer DeSantis. I don't care how many policy wonk eggheads prefer DeSantis. I don't care what GOPe-PAC social media astro-turf campaigns get sent.
DeSantis loses the blue collar and working class decisively. He also loses a huge amount of the Florida electorate because of a feeling of betrayal which is hard to describe. And that is a death knell to a Republican primary contender.
*IF* DeSantis is foolhardy enough to allow himself to get a big-head after getting sweet-nothings whispered into his ears by embittered establishmentarian RINOs, he will get his asshole blown out in the Primary. It also probably succeeds in throwing the Presidency to the Democrats again.

As an aside, I feel sorry for Doug Mastriano, this was supposed to be his night, and all anyone can talk about is a supposed rivalry between Trump and DeSantis.
Of that, I am well aware. The GOP leadership is fine with losing if it means killing Trump and populism as a whole.
