Number 2 is the large reason that the DNC wants to push DeSantis out right now. They want to get the machine going again in Florida.

If the republicans really get some big senate wins, in the 54 or 55 range, I could see Murkowski flipping to democrat if she wins on Tuesday. It would just be perfect to show how Mitch the Bitch is so useless, propping her up with senate campaign funds against the republican choice of Alaskan voters, doing what he can to help one of his toadies, only for her to jump ship because she would be untouchable for six years and would have more pull with democrats than with a senate GOP that would be more MAGA.

People like the Turtle are fighting against the inevitable - the old GOP method of forever bowing to the whims and desires of the Chamber of Commerce has no future, because the voter base is fucking fed up with it. If they were as smart as political actors as they liked to think themselves being, they'd be working to calibrate and position themselves favorably to this new paradigm that's taken over the party.

If GOP wins, it still looks like the populist and libertarian wings are winning out

if they lose, the democrats are going to oversee a way worse depression than 1929 and deal with people only a few more BLM chimpouts and gas price increases from completely ignoring the federal government's whims

The media can just lie about it and half the population will accept that it is not happening. They will stand in bread lines satisfied that Trump isn't in office and that the Russian bots couldn't swing the election.

The people in charge of overseeing the ship of state for the past 20 years have been completely and utterly irresponsible with their tasks. Instead they were focused on expanding their own personal little fiefdoms and pet projects.

Remember how we rejoiced at Kenosha Kyle's acquittal? When we laughed at the suffering of the bugmen during the Honkening? How we sneeded when Roe v. Wade got aborted? How Jersh fought tooth and nail to keep the shitposting going as we were under siege by the Trannywaffen?

What a year it has been. Just this one last laugh is what I want for Christmas.

Speaking of Christmas, tomorrow isn't what I'm most nervous about. What worries me is what can happen between now and January. Hope you're stocked on food, water, booze, batteries, firewood, socks, gloves, and ammo.
