US 2022 Mid-Term Election

People are just so polarized I don't think opinions can really be shifted anymore. You have to vote for your home team because it's the home team. People aren't really open to ideas that challenge their world view, or they would have to concede they were wrong on some level.

Nearly everyone I know goes point blanc on how other color is evil and will end democracy, yet I have always had friends on both sides and understood the points each had. I think that's a rare quality though, since most people are only focused on dominance, rather than any healthy exchange of ideas.

Admittedly, I am sort of looking forward to the Stock market potentially nose diving tomorrow. I kind of want that Greater Depression just for the experience. Got to put all those "hard times" cooking shows I've binged to good use.
Even if there's a shift, it seems like it's less crossing the aisle and more lack of motivation. Apparently a big factor in Democrat's losses in Florida.

If the election have taught me one thing it is that blacks will gladly for for a smarmy Jew over one of their one because they love being Jewish nigger cattle.
Which one's the smarmy Jew?

Watching this thread wish wash between RED WAVE FOREVER to DOOMSERVATIVES with bits of seething Liberals has been enjoyable enough for me.

Its obvious some "foritifying" has gone down, but the Dems were smarter this time around by not blowing their load as hard as 2020. It will still likely be a Republican victory in the house and senate, but only with weak majority's.

I apparently had too much faith that more Democratic voters would just stay home.
If they're registered but stay home, they're an unaccounted for ballot that could easily be filled in for by random doppelganger.

I feel the same way about ballots that were turned in but without all races filled out. Gotta vote for someone in every box, even if I have to write in "Slobber Mutt" to do so, just to make sure my non-vote stays a non-vote.

LMAO. I've been watching, Dude has been hypeing this shit up weeks. Can't wait for the "I actually called it for a Dems. I wasn't wrong!" cope.
I'm autistic enough to actually like some of Beaniebums ideas and I think what he'll be doing tomorrow is pointing out how the Red Wave DID occur in the South amongst states that were not Democrat strongholds. Which did occur, and claim the "red wave actually happened" cope narrative.

I'm speculating that a big factor in this is because of mail-in ballots, whether they are legitimate or not, Democratic turn-out is benefited by them. I am sure now that the only way this country's voting systems can survive is with a strong-handed restriction and regulation on mail-in ballots.

There was a ballot measure in Connecticut to amend the state constitution to permit early in person voting, whatever the fuck that means. It passed by a wide margin. I'm sure mail in ballots won't be far behind.

Fuck Snow birds and their shitty driving habits. Stay in the frozen Fargo north you goddamn carpetbagging cumdumpsters.
You guys drive like fuckin maniacs; if it's not some 85 year old lady who's drunk driving home from the Tiki bar, it's some dipshit whose going 25 in a 40 and last used his turn signal in 1985 (because his car is a rusted out shitheap Pontiac from 1976). I just want to get my family to dinner by driving like a normal person; 7-8 mph above the speed limit, is that OK?

Florida drivers don't have highways, they have myways, as in: "you'd better get the fuck out of my way before I violently depart the fast lane and sideswipe you as you're trying to merge from the on-ramp."

PS, if someone makes a left turn in front of you, the polite thing to do is to maintain speed or hit the brake slightly just in case, not speed up and lean on the horn until their turn is complete and then for an additional 30 seconds afterward.

It already is. Even if the Republicans take the Senate AND House, if this is the best the entire country unanimously DESPISING Democrats can muster up, then that is the blackest of black pills. We need another solution to purge NY and CA because I simply don't buy this.
Jesus fucking Christ we aren't even getting results from Pacific Time states yet, to say nothing that only a select few blowouts are already called in the East.
At least wait until tomorrow morning before writing the whole thing off, for fuck's sake.

I've been predicting for years that both major parties were due for a fracture. The question being which one eats it first.

There has been a deep shift in the level of cope on the dem side in the past month.

Like you can't demand ideological purity and embrace Liz Cheney at the same time.

Plus the aforementioned articles about the dems losing the Hispanics and the working class.

Newsom is in a slapfight with Klobuchar.

I think the internal dem slapfighting is about to begin.

Senate: Only one in-play race decided. Dem leaning went dem

House: (too big to do a screenshot), 5 in-plays decided. 3 lean-Dem went Dem, 2 lean Rep went Rep.

Governors: 1 in-play decided, Lean Rep, went Rep.

Nothing has happened at all yet.
Edit: while typing this there was an onslaught of dooming. Stop dooming. The night hasn't even started. We've gotten close to the hour, and now you're nervous. That's just how it works.
Yeah, seems to be advancing at the pace and interest of a quadriplegic slapfight.
