That works out in the short term, I'm just saying don't get Cu Chulainn'd.
Smile knowing that my top issue has been addressed, then examine where they stand on other issues and vote accordingly. What will you do if all your options promise tranny genocide, then?
None of us hate DeSantis. Back when the populist revolt started with the Tea Party and Occupy Wall Street, the way the GOP eventually dealt with the Tea Party was to put up candidates that talked the right talk and made the right noises but all turned out to be either easily co-opted by the establishment or were always on their side. Like Paul Ryan. It's how the GOPe deals with internal revolt. The Dems just pushed Social Justice hard to distract from Class Warfare.I don't see why people hate DeSantis. Unlike Trump, he knows how to conduct himself while knowing what is good for his state and citizens. He's actually one of my favorite politicians yet.
Something I haven't seen any commentary or speculation about is how Republicans plan on appealing to Rust Belt voters after Trump (or assuming he just isn't nominated in 2024 for some reason). It's not just a problem Ron would have if he decided to climb up the ladder, Republicans in general just haven't gotten the same sort of enthusiasm out of them as Trump has. It's an underrated long-term problem the GOP needs to find a better way of contending with. What's he going to do for the Blue Collar Rust belt guys whose love for Trump has made Ohio a red state? Because Ohio didn't go Red over the last six years for the GOP. They don't care that he won Florida, a state with a friendly state Government and massive amounts of Republicans moving into it. Trump's genius is his ability to get the working class guys who feel fucked over and passed over out to the polls. Ron doesn't have that charisma.
He'd be much better off spending four years as Trump's favorite and most loyal governor.
Rackets pointed out something I hadn't noticed.... Republicans made the Democrat mistake this cycle and didn't have a platform... just "the other guys suck". Solve that problem and you've finished step one of getting the rust belt.Something I haven't seen any commentary or speculation about is how Republicans plan on appealing to Rust Belt voters after Trump (or assuming he just isn't nominated in 2024 for some reason). You know the House Freedom Caucus - which formed in response to the Republican Study Committee basically becoming a rubber stamp for the establishment's pro-corporate agenda rather than a group that tried to maintain and push the party's agenda for the right? Ron DeSantis was a founding member of it.None of us hate DeSantis. People go on about DeSantis is, somehow, refined Trump. But he supported the TPP. Square that circle for me.
You don't mean this in a literally sense right?by creating a totalitarian oligarchy
That's the logical way to start approaching it, but I think what people are missing is that the reason the messaging sucked was because the messaging was supposed to suck. The GOPe doesn't want MAGA types in it. We've known this for months at least, why is anyone surprised the party fucked them over?Rackets pointed out something I hadn't noticed.... Republicans made the Democrat mistake this cycle and didn't have a platform... just "the other guys suck". Solve that problem and you've finished step one of getting the rust belt.
Libertarians don't owe Republicans shit, especially not their vote. If you think they do, you can go on seething forever because you're too stupid to absorb voters from a party with ideals that overlap your own. I keep hearing that R's are supposed to be the party of liberty and deregulation but that rarely ever plays out when they're handed power. Get your own house in order before blaming everyone else for your own dog shit politicians not being able to get more votes than literal dead people. They're happy to complain all fucking day but they squander every opportunity they've ever been given to change things. Outsiders have no faith in you.
I'd argue that it's better to throw your support behind the party who's most likely to at least not make things worse for you rather than vote 3rd party if this can reasonably be expected to be a tight race, thus risking the party who will DEFINITIVELY fuck you gaining power.
I can understand the appeal of sticking to your principles, but the group who just wants to be left alone will always lose to the group who wants power. Might as well pull a Ron/Rand Paul and be at the table to make sure your POV is represented. If the GOP candidate recognizes he NEEDS lolberg support to win, he's more lilely to not risk you guys turning on him come reelection by pissing you off.
Politics General: “The two party system is poisonous and inherently broken”
Also Politics General: “DON’T EVER VOTE THIRD PARTY HOW DARE YOU!!!”
Keep blaming libertarians for the republicans shit performance. Post the Ben Garrison meme of the giant Jew stepping on voters again too. it’s been a few pages since it’s been posted.
Third parties are used by one of the two parties, to steal votes and fuck over the other party.
In the 2020 election, the Democrats shut out the Green Party from the ballot in Wisconsin since they steal Democrat votes and blame them partially for why Queen Bitch lost in 2016.
Its not like the parliamentary system where multiple parties are worth something, however as far as voting lolbert goes.
Lolberts going to lolbert but its interesting how the lolberts fuck over the Republicans out of winning close races in many lean blue states lol.
Why does that never happen with the greens screwing the Democrats out of a win in a lean red state.
On a final note, a bunch of lolberts known as Mises Caucus iirc managed to unpoz parts of the Libertarian Party, and were shit on by the mainstream media for not embracing globohomo.
And yet, look at what happened over the past day in this very topic. So I think all these proclamations the DeSantis is an establishment stooge sent in deep cover to destroy MAGA/populism are horribly misguided at best, retarded at worst.
The second DeSantis runs he'll be the all new Cheeto Hitler 2.0: Hitler HARDER.A lot of people are just sick of Trump's eccentric quirks, I know I am. DeSantis seems willing enough to push back on more of the stuff than Trump ever was, and is clever enough not to sperg out on Twitter nonstop about stupid shit like how many votes each person got. I like Trump's platforms regarding trade and border security, but he is just a fucking black hole of drama which quagmires him. DeSantis gives off the appearance on the surface that he will operate on almost all of Trump's platforms without the insane drag effect of being Cheetoh Hitler. Reagan was just a far more polished version of Barry Goldwater and one could argue DeSantis is just a more polished and refined Trump.

Highly passionate internet talk causes some people to have retarded takes; also, water is wet. News at 11.And yet, look at what happened over the past day in this very topic.
Counting is easy. Florida has proven that millions of votes can be counted on election night. Manufactauring fraudulent ballots? That takes time. Especially if the uniparty candidate is behind by hundreds of thousands of votes.
Not... exactly. No one knows what the impact of a nuclear strike looks like. The megatons and the construction of cities are so far from 1945 that we don't have a frame of reference. If it happens then you'll have a new baseline but the current bar to meet is a small yield warhead against a bunch of timber buildings.
They did it on Bush Sr and Reagan too. Its just part of the game, but Trump is a lightning magnet for drama beyond the normal gas lighting and his own personality quirks are just becoming tiresome. He had his day in the sun, and shifted the political scene dramatically by introducing new concepts and jargon to the voter base. Even if he did somehow manage to get into office it would just be another exhausting 4 years of his retarded shit as a cherry on top of the media freakouts. I voted for him twice but I'm sick of these geezers infesting the political system, I want younger people. Trump was surprisingly energetic during his tenure but that may not be the case by 2024 and over the course of 4 years in office. The second DeSantis runs he'll be the all new Cheeto Hitler 2.0: Hitler HARDER.
They have done the exact same playbook one very single Republican candidate since Bush. Senior.
And Paul Ryan was a Tea Party guy. Trust but verify. You know the House Freedom Caucus - which formed in response to the Republican Study Committee basically becoming a rubber stamp for the establishment's pro-corporate agenda rather than a group that tried to maintain and push the party's agenda for the right? Ron DeSantis was a founding member of it.
That's the point, 2024 is not when Ron needs to run. "Polished" or not, Ron doesn't have Trump's charisma or pull where he needs it. But 4 years of being Trump's best governor is a hell of a way to earn support. Keep in mind too, it's not the Trump wing that started the whole Don vs. Ron thing, but the Con Inc. and the Grifters. That's why some of us older hands aren't falling all over ourselves to jump ship, it's not the first time we've seen this song and dance. Ron's probably not the source and they're probably just trying to convince him to run.So I think all these proclamations the DeSantis is an establishment stooge sent in deep cover to destroy MAGA/populism are horribly misguided at best, retarded at worst. Ron is definitely more polished than Don, but jumping for the Presidential seat in 24 is too big a risk both for himself and for Florida. Don is definitely a manchild at times and his ego and vanity are his biggest weakness, but he's still a standard bearer for the party and the direction it needs to go in both to save itself and the nation.
All this talk of DeSantis vs Trump is needless gay infighting that will only weaken the right opposition rather than strengthen it during a time when it needs to be circling the wagons and ready to hold off more bullshit from the pants-shitter and chief and his oligarchic puppetmasters. As Franklin once said "Gentlemen, if we do not all hang together, then we will surely all hang separately."
It's not my fault GOP candidates were beaten by corpses.Look man it's not my fault that at your own conventions one of the debate topics is the age of consent. You made your weirdo fringe bed about fucking 16 year olds now lie in it or Google what Aleppo is.
Isn’t that what some Trump supporters LIKE about him? There you are. Your Lord and Savior Trump is acting like a drama queen. He's further isolating the Republican Party by creating a totalitarian oligarchy where he himself is the last bastion of freedom.
It’s always amazing how easily impressed and convinced the right can be to support somebody. Especially when they try to act like they aren’t.Any politician who unironically promises tranny genocide has my vote.
