As funny/conspiratorial as that sounds, I bet it’s actually the case. Tech geeks are notoriously lonely and often deviant weirdos, it would be easy to seduce them and fuck with them. Especially given the increasingly high stakes in information control for these tech companies. IF you’re unhinged enough to do a flagging campaign like Dong-Gone, you’re unhinged enough to fuck people for blackmail. From what I've been told by some friends in the industry is that they get their "Compromised insiders"at tech companies by catfishing/seducing some lonely dude in a key position.
Then they blackmail them by threatening to tell everyone (Co-workers, friends, family, ect) all the graphic details about their humiliating experience fucking a Troon. Unless they "Do favors" like flagging accounts, banning people, ect.
I’ve also noticed the way these companies work seems to be hands-off, a lot of independent departments with no oversight. The Twitch moderation team is a good example, apparently anonymous and doesn’t report to anybody.
Put all this shit in the hands of bizarro leftists, troons, and weak faggoty tech nerds and you’ve got a recipe for disaster. Absolute clown world that the free speech of American citizens is in the hands of this sorry bunch.
I’m leaning more and more toward legislation, guarantee of right to online access, and monopoly breakups at this point.
