Look at Europe to see how 5+ party politics plays out in the long run. It's still just two parties.

Yeah, and how much exactly? Because just cutting off the spigot isn't going to be enough and I fucking heartily doubt the EPA of all things is going to help anyone, with anything, ever.

You'd need actually proactive measures at this point and there's a good chance it wouldn't even be enough.
What proactive measures reduce inflation? Keynesian economics suggests raising interest rates, but that doesn’t actually work. The only way is passive: reducing spending. Deregulation doesn’t even work, because deregulation increases demand!

Remember, inflation is the rate of price increases. If inflation goes down, prices will still go up. Inflation has to be negative for prices to go down. For prices to go down, the supply needs to go up without also driving up demand. There is nothing any government in the world can do (let alone ours) to drive that.

Which would be part of the reason I said "it wouldn't even be enough". Turning off the spigot alone isn't something that will save anybody at this point.

Then there's the diesel shortage.

Katie Hobbs overseeing her own election looks like a winning strategy versus campaigning at all. No wonder she didn’t think she needed to debate Kari Lake.
Frankly, this situation destroys the notion that you need to debate to be seen as a serious candidate.

What was it? That independents hate a candidate who won't debate? I am pretty sure I've seen that argument advanced on this very website.

You're more or less missing the point. You don't need to deflate, you just need supply and wages to catch up.

Florida seems to be on everyone's minds lately but nobody's sparing a thought for the Florida Dems who got wiped out this year. Well, except for Bill Clinton, apparently he sees an opprotunity there.
“Chaos is a ladder,” Kennedy said. “Between Trump and DeSantis fighting, DeSantis maybe running for president, a lot can happen.”

Taddeo also said that there’s interest from top Democrats in helping the party reassert itself in the wake of the midterms. She fielded a call on Friday from Bill Clinton, who offered his help in rebuilding Democrats’ crumbling political infrastructure in Florida. Still, she noted, there are years of work ahead.

“It’s got to be a long-term plan,” Taddeo said. “What do we think we can do in two years? What do we think we can do in four? We need goals for two, four, six, eight, 10 years. This isn’t going to turn around overnight.”

This is a surefire way to get people thinking Ron taking on the groomers was all for show.

Even if it was all for show, at least he made moves to stop the groomers like banning gender surgeries for minors. All Ron has to do is give token gestures, laws, and EOs that come across as based instead if acting like it’s 2003, and the GOP voters will give him 2 terms at 1600.
Yeah, Trump had a message. He identified problems and proposed solutions. That, more than anything else, is why conservatives hated him. Conservatives don't believe in solving problems; they believe in bitching and whining for donations.
Like Democrats don't play the same fucking game.
I honestly don't understand why Trump and his unemployed cultists are so angry at Daddy DeSantis. We were just minding our own business and winning elections, that's all.
Have you seen the last few pages. MAGA is worried that the swamp is trying to divide them to weaken the movement because the legal avenue isn’t doing anything noteworthy.
DeSantis seems to be the type of guy who has no convictions himself but is smart enough to know MAGA is the way forward and will bite the bullet on his own opinions and do whatever MAGA policies people want because he gets a base. If he is smart he would know backstabbing people on these policies would only hurt him so hopefully he doesn't fall for what the GOPE is trying to push.
Well, hope he realizes that when shit goes down if he’s the president, MAGA’s only acceptable to certain things would be “invoke the Insurrection Act and send in the military”.

I don't think a parliamentary model is any better. 1, 2, 5, 25, 50 parties, however many, all seem to be arriving at the same destination. Maybe political parties were a bad idea that only benefit fundraising and telling the politically disinterested who to vote for.

I love how the future of our nation isn't going to be decided between two ideologies or debate but by the concept of "Are these two retarded enough to start a ego driven slap fight"

Honestly debates are not very valuable these days. It was during an era before the Internet where you could see policy positions and there was also a veneer of impartiality by the moderator. These days you can watch everyone’s rallies on JewTube and the moderators will openly side with the Democrat or establishment candidate. Recall how stunning and brave Gwen Ifill was in 2012 when Mitt “Cuck” Romney started thumping Obama and she had to intervene or how Megyn Kelly tried to stump Trump during a primary debate. Debates are an utter clown show. I neither know nor care why Hobbs refused to debate Lake but clearly that didn’t seem to keep Hobbs from likely winning the governor’s race.

See, the joke is she counts her own votes since she’s the Secretary of State in charge of elections and she didn’t recuse herself.

I'd like to correct that statement from "the Internet" to "social media" we know today. With how much reach social media has, it's ripe for impressionable people to be taken advantage of.
