What wave? They took the Senate and are projected to get the house.
I suspect the media calling the senate for the dems has a more sinister motive than just winning.
If for some reason they manage to loose, I fully suspect the dems to be the one to pull "The republicans stole the election!" type shenanigans and burn the country down to prevent people from noticing the economy in a recession.

Gas prices have been hovering at ~3-4 dollars in my area, when is it going to jump to like 5-6?

And when should I expect the interest rate fuckery to not obfuscate the inflation?

Basically when is it all going to give? When is all the papering-over measures finally not going to be enough?
I think gas will go up if there's a storm that hits refining or the SPR runs out.

Edit I should mention this article, looks like criminals are pretending to be swat now.
Men in body armor claiming to be police kicked down a door and opened fire on a Texas family who fired back, authorities said. One suspect died in the firefight. Two men claiming to be the Houston police department kicked in the door of a home just after 11 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 10, the Harris County Sheriff Office said in a news conference recorded by KHOU. A woman and her two adult sons were inside the home at the time, deputies said.

The home intruders “immediately” opened fire toward the residents, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said in a Nov. 11 news release. One of them shot his partner “most likely inadvertently,” the sheriff said. The wounded man dropped his own gun and fled. Then one of the sons in the residence picked up the dropped pistol and fired at the two suspects. He fatally struck the man who shot his partner, the sheriff said. The suspect was found dead in the entryway of the home.

The wounded man left with an unspecified number of other suspects, the sheriff said. The shooting was believed to be “targeted,” deputies said at the news conference. The intruders’ motive is not yet known and the incident is under investigation.

McCarthy supposedly had been trying to suck up to Trump and the Freedom caucus (the more right wing caucus in the House) in order to stay in power in the House.

The Freedom caucus would be pretty certain to be able to get some concessions out of McCarthy versus someone else getting in being a wildcard.

This is versus Mitch McConnell who pretty much pissed away chances of Senate control because he wanted to ban all MAGA candidates getting in.

It's sorta night and day how the two behave regarding Trump friendly congressmen.

Would you say a weaker "red wave" than expected was due to people from blue states fleeing to red states which ended COVID restrictions? I have the feeling red areas became redder and that's part of the supposed wave.
Most people aren't moving around the country. Even moving to a different city can be a hassle.

There were probably some wealthy people that went and got an apartment to stay at or hung out in Airbnbs in places without lockdowns, but that's not common as most wouldn't be able to afford it.

The lack of a redwave largely comes from a lack of enthusiasm and Dems being used to sending people out (possibly paid) to gather up votes. There's not a lot of Republicans willing to go door to door to talk to people about voting so you end up with companies getting hired that may send out Dems to do it for them who obviously aren't going to feel that eager to really do the job.

It may sound fucked up, but Republicans need to get used to making it easier and more popular to grift by supporting them.

Grifters help win elections.

Social policies aren't going to be the biggest issue for the Red States. Red states have grown even more entrenched and will just ignore the federal government outright when they mandate tranny BLM shit. The economic issues is the real issue. MAGA isn't ideal economicallyt, but they wanted to end the GOPe economic grift and bring some sustainability to the economy. It doesn't matter how stable red states can keep themselves together when nationwide everything hyperinflates.

But if you bought into the Tempe dream years ago and own a property like mine (bought 40 years ago), well... youse is fucked. Youse is going on a tiered usage water rate, which for me, and my gardens, and yard, and pool is TRIPLE the fucking rate of some spud on ASU campus that washes their nasty cunt or balls once a week.

My latest water bill from the City of Tempe arrived today. $2 fucking hundred and seventy seven dollars. And my usage was low, just keeping shit green on drip systems and shit.

I haven't been to Tempe in a long time, but if I recall correctly, it's all sand, it's a desert. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

A lawn and gardens SHOULD be exorbitantly expensive in a desert, I think. I am kinda crazy though, so apologies if this is batshit and I don't realize, being insane and all.

He is a grifter just like Candace Owens. He only became rightwing when he was forced out of his far left hugbox. He also swatted someone and got their dog killed.
Think that was Wildgoose and he changed that story a few times. There was a thread by Ping on twitter that went through some of the variations with sources but I can't find it. If I remember my lore right though, there was one scenario where his one dog lived, another where it died, and then another where one dog lived and he a second dog that died.

Though doesn't really change that Cheong is a weird fraud that lives in Malaysia and now obsessively repeats right wing politics similar to Thernovich's.

I just want you to know a wholesale nursery I work for has their current water bill as over five thousand a month for a littler under 1000 square feet near Tyler, Texas. Did I mention the owner just lost 5 million from the freeze + drought?

Do you mind doing a flip? You're not even remotely entertaining.

Who the hell is that character?
Someone with a thread. First he was a neonazi, then a SJW anti-gamergate sperg, and now some kind of right wing grifter. Hey, @Jaimas , any chance you remember Ian’s greatest hits? It’s been forever and I seem to remember him being an obnoxious shitheel on the scale of Homer or Ralph.
