Pat's concept of masculinity is incredibly shallow and superficial. He thinks that masculinity is about shallow symbols like butt-rock, beer, guns and motorbikes. It's what a Liberal thinks conservatives are like, whereas the conservative concept of masculinity is actually all about self-discipline, providing for your family and being a good father, all things Patrick is absolutely awful at.
