Eldenring going on blast again for reusing assets. Stupid fucking lazy devs making a 100+ hour open world game. Why couldnt they make 150 unique bosses for each side dungeon? Im sure daves number 1 spergdown game will not contradict the reasons he hates ER at all.

No word on God of War reusing the same fucking troll boss 4 times with slight alterations in the 2018 version....nawwww that gets a pass but Elden Ring? UNACCEPTABLE!!!

Sure they do reuse bosses, but that's because making a boss that is unique, challenging, but also not too challenging takes a long fucking time.

I don't think Piggy ever thinks about the work that goes into making games, the long hours, the crunch and the deadlines.

He just sits on his couch and expects them to cave to his every whim.

maybe I'm just a senile old man but I've always disagreed with this. you kids have seen my commentary on his gameplay, so you know why I enjoy it. but for his insane ramblings? Phil's a fat moron and a liar. He is delusional. He is STUPID. He is a LIAR. A proven liar. maybe it's just the fact I've been watchin' phil for bordering on like, 15 fucking years, but I never saw the value of listening to him ramble. I didn't listen to his prestream today. I didn't listen to it yesterday. I haven't listened to it in a week.

but let me guess, he said something wildly incorrect very confidently, he said got mad at someone, he said a lot of boring shit about his day. Am I right? I just never saw the point in listening to phil ramble because I know what he's going to say. He's going to say a bunch of stupid bullshit that is either incorrect or outright made up to make himself look better/feel better.

I'll proudly wear my Mario tshirt...at my WFH job or in a very casual environment where nobody I expect to see gives a fuck about how I look. If I owned Zelda PJ's, those are for bedtime, not out-in-public time. Unfortunately a lot of other Millenials and Zoomers do not seem to understand this.

Phil plays mostly console walking sims. Dents handhold him every step and pay for the privilege. Any game that could present a challenge is given the #EldenRingLibrary treatment and sterilized. Where is the gold you speak of

yeah, it's not as good as it used to be in the old days, I agree. but if my choices are listen to a known liar who says nonsense 2 hours a day so I can sit here in my diappy and go "lol. he's lying again" or watch him get his ass beat every now and then in the rare game that allows it, I know my choice, mate.

edit: I would like to point out that even just today phil was screaming and threatening game devs over sonic frontiers, it's not as often as it used to be, but I will take that over listening to 10 minutes of phils podcast any day every day.

I always have hated that specific bitch he has made, because it really goes to show how little he actually understands games as a medium. He seems to think the process of creating these assest, from character design, to modelling, rigging, animating, and coding is nothing, and that's not even considering how the designers need to figure out how this creature fights.

Games have to reuse assests and probably always will because of money, time, and staff restraints, and IMHO the only time it's something to bitch about is if it actively takes away from the game. Beyond that, this gripe is literally "I want all my groceries in one bag, but I don't want it to be too heavy"
