I assume by "de-fortifying," it's to reduce their strongholds in their cities. Good luck with that. Politics is the science of power. They gave up on those areas. Requires effort and a fight.Unless the GOP gets serious about de-fortifying places like Pennsylvania, there won't be a general election in any meaningful sense. But if we must resolve Trump v DeSantis, then the fact that the GOP apparently isn't viable at the national level without Trump's particular base should answer the question.
Minus Schweikert and Ciscomoni winning. Pima county went from 38k votes remaining, dropped 24k votes, and now are back up to 39k votes remaining. It seems like it's over in AZ for the GOP.
Kinda amazing how blatant fraud can be normalized with enough people saying that it's normal and judges too scared to hear cases because they don't want to lose re-election and don't want their name in the history books as one of the reasons for half the country collectively screeching like the weird bug hive they are.Pima county found more votes lol.

These idiots want to go back to 2003-2004 when the "permanent Republican majority" was guaranteed due to aggressive overseas policy, a hyper laissez fair economic policy, and trying to get illegals naturalized (see again "hyper laissez fair economic policy").It's not complicated: they hate Trump with a passion that burns hotter than a thousand suns, and they want the right spending the next two years on a ridiculous turf war as opposed to working on ways to de-fortify the elections in various states. The fact is, as it stands, neither man has a path to the presidency when half a dozen states will go into overtime and count ballots until they manifest enough D votes from the aether.
Kari Lake was fucking robbed. I'm pissed. It seems like it's over in AZ for the GOP.
There should be lawsuits about everything in NV and AZ, supposedly both states do signature match and that should force an audit in Maricopa especially. Just get it on record the no latches standing.
At least the AZ house and senate are still GOP, just so they can't ram through voting laws, unless that was also fortified.
You're probably right about the GOP being useless losers unable/unwilling to take meaningful action, but it's actually a whole host of things: banning vote by mail, requiring ID, no early voting etc. There's a ton of relevant angles, but "find a working model (Florida, France, India etc) and do that" is the gist. As it stands the relevant states have three or four separate voting systems with zero transparency or accountability, and anything that can be done to mitigate that is a step forward.I assume by "de-fortifying," it's to reduce their strongholds in their cities. Except for the fact that Dems are bussing people in for Colorado 3 vote curing.HEY! Quit your doomering. Things look really good for Republican prospects on taking the House now. Barring any fuckery in California Republicans take the House.

Christy Smith all but conceded to Mike Garcia last night in CAL27. She said her path had narrowed significantly and when all ballots were cast, Mike Garcia would hold onto the seat. Right now it is really down to Boebert and if she holds on. CAL45, AZ01, AZ06, and NY22 have all been called by Decision Desk and Dave Wasserman, so Republicans are sitting at 216 at the moment. On the bright side things still look good for the House at least.
Calif 27 dropped a bit for Republicans but other than that gains were made today.
Calif 41 is going redder so that's another seat that looks hard red.Except for the fact that Dems are bussing people in for Colorado 3 vote curing.
I'll say this. If @The Last Stand makes a sound political point or prediction, you should be scared. You're probably right about the GOP being useless losers unable/unwilling to take meaningful action,
Don't forget that voters just have limited intelligence. I've done stupid things in my life, but I never thought that chocolate milk comes from brown cows or that hamburger meat isn't made of beef. As I said, Calif 41 is looking good for Republicans right now. We may not need Boebert, but I will be pissed if she gets cheated.Christy Smith all but conceded to Mike Garcia last night in CAL27.
