No TRUE AND HONEST GAMER would actually play the fucking thing actively and clean it actively.

It's as fucking filthy as everything in the house:

In a fairness and balance response, the meme is somewhat real if we consider what we define as gamers. This definition has shifted massively thanks to the prevalence of things like the mobile gaming market and I'd argue that some folks have probably migrated over to the 3DS and other small handhelds as a result of starting out playing silly, similar games on the mobile before wanting a more dedicated platform to play stuff on the bus/train/plane that doesn't interfere with an aircraft's electronics and has a better battery life than a phone playing games. Indeed, by existence it's possibly made a wider range of people more aware that those handhelds aren't just silly noisy toys for kids to play on.

Of course, we can point to Revolution 60's failure to understand the casual nature of the mobile gaming market with its complicated storyline and resource hungry gameplay, which shows that Wu doesn't know How To Business.

Not really. Gaming is as strong as always.

Consoles are as prevalent as they've always been, as are PCs (despite people declaring computers dead due to Tablets for some time). Hell, the 3DS is Nintendo's best-selling handheld ever, and that came out during the Mobile boom. The increased use of the simplified devices (Phones, Tablets) hasn't translated over to their competing devices falling by the wayside by a longshot, nor will it - people do not buy a phone primarily to game. They don't even buy a smartphone primarily to game. They buy it to do phone shit, and to a lesser degree, Internet. Gaming is simply a side-benefit. This is true of tablets, as well; outside of artists and schools, the biggest market for tablets are offices and businesses, who - again - are not buying them primarily to game.

Meanwhile, gaming console sales, in spite of an economic recession, have remained fairly solid, and indeed, picked up strongly over the last few years, and PC gaming is as strong as it's ever been. The people going on about how mobile and such are the next big thing are ignoring that it's fundamentally a different market than the market for console gamers or PC gamers. Mobile is successful in their own right, and that's cool, but it's a logical fallacy to say that they'll supplant the market when they achieve fundamentally a different niche.

This plurality of markets is awesome for people who like games regardless of the platform they're on, but it's a fucking death knell for any ideological shit-stain trying to claim that the gaming industry as a whole must change for the sake of diversity and point to the iPhone as the herald of the end times for other platforms.

Ok. Seriously. How the fuck does a house get that damn dusty? I have a room I hardly ever fucking dust and it's not that filthy.
The only time I've ever personally seen shit that dusty is in the houses of severely heavy smokers. Like people who light a cigarette with the dying spark of the one they just finished heavy.

Weird, Wu plagiarises Sailor Moon a shitton in SOCCON, but doesn't own a lot of merchandise from it. I'm guessing she goes through phases of obsession with certain anime/tv/vidya series, and then dumps them as soon as she finds a new one.

That creep really needs to clean their shelves, holy shit, they're extremely dusty.

Yeah, one would think if you can pay a full time employee to monitor and sanitize your fucking Twitter feed for you, you probably could make the executive decision to shell out a few bucks for some cleaning people a couple times a month so you are not rooting around in filth like an animal.

I think what's very interesting about that collection is it's nearly all FF stuff. Like, seriously. There's even repeat models there from, I believe, FF13 and 13-2.
Yeah, most of them are Play Arts Kai figures as well. They usually go for around $80-ish if you don't buy them directly from Japan, so I'm guessing Wu's spent at least $400 on them.

John, once again you are EIGHT YEARS behind CWC.

Why can't Harley Quinn be both a sex symbol and a feminist empowerment fantasy? Isn't that the kind of thing "sex-positive feminists" want? Oh right, Brianna, you aren't really sex-positive, you just say that to excuse the horrifying pencil-thin white girls in your video game.

Also, Harley Quinn isn't really a feminidt icon so much as she is a demonstration of the gender roles in society feminists want to erase. Her entire character is built around her single-minded obsession with a man, after all, and her desire to impress him and be with him. Poison Ivy's sort of a feminist icon but she's more a demonstration of the kind of batshit crazy misandry that poisons (pun intended) feminism as a philosophy.
