By Phil's logic, you can cure depression by just stopping yourself from feeling sad. Also by his logic, allergies can be fixed if you just eat the stuff you're allergic to. I'm sure he genuinely thinks it would help asthma by inflating your lungs with air, like you would with bags or containers.

I feel so bad for any doctor that would be forced to see him, past and present times. Pretty sure he'd tell the people who knows how to do their jobs that they're wrong about any diagnostic.

He mistook compressed or pressurized for depressed. His argument is that the inhaler has compressed air that propels the drug so that it's administered into your lungs.

Of course inhalers don't use "air" for that task as far as I know, I don't know where he got that. Maybe he was thinking that it's the same as a bottle of canned air dusters, which also don't use air:

depressed would mean some sort of movement or deformation
compressed means shit got squeezed tight
you can compress with depression, but you can also depress without causing compression

Indeed it doesn't use air in a way he's probably thinking. The air that's bringing the medication into the lungs is just the air around you, by inhaling sharply while pushing down the cylinder (or using a spacer that you can attach the inhaler to so that you can pull the medication more slowly in). It isn't like the inhalers are solid pieces of plastic surrounding the cylinder that won't allow air in.

The man is a colossal idiot of modern medicine.

It's really insane how DSP now genuinely expects these people to pay him in 500 memberships PER MONTH to keep up the inflated numbers. Remember, whenever phil reaches some kind of goal, it immediately becomes the new default.

This christmas goal is complete insanity even by phil autism vortex standards. Even if he hits the number it will immediately drop off by hundreds, but it still counts? And how do you even begin to rationalize having over 1000 memberships when your streams get maybe 200 viewers on average. It won't even be possible to hit the goal because there won't be anyone there to accept the gifted membership. So this person would need to create hundreds of sock accounts and then drop the bomb. Wonder if the sub mode will be off the next couple days. Don't know anyone at youtube can look at any of this and be ok with how this channel operates.

Just do this christmas anyways to give something back to your fans. This isn't going to be any different than previous years that you didn't charge for(beforehand at least). Can you just not be a greedy shitbag for once as a gift to your generous audience? Obviously not.

What’s really insane is that Phil genuinely believes that the people who grab the gifted subs will automatically turn into fans of his content. Never mind the fact that it’s either trolls or bots that end up grabbing the subs, and don’t even attend his streams.
