I heard that there was a leak at Tesla in the past and Elon posted a mail to every employeer but each mail had a different "typing error". With this typing error they began hunting the leaker and they found him that way. I would bet it was his idea after asking if they could identify bot armies in their code.

Because these people are only capable of living in absolutes. Either a person is perfect and flawless, or a complete incompetent in everything. They came to the conclusion that Musks success was due to money from his family, as if that solved everything. Therefore, he's incompetent and everything he does is incompetent and was only ever buoyed by that.

When in reality, Musk is smart and not perfect. He has a habit of dreaming big, but he also has a consistent reputation of identifying and bringing on the smartest people for whatever his dream might be, and giving them what they need to succeed. This sometimes leads to stupid shit like bringing on teams of excellent engineers and geologists for stupid shit like the Boring Company, but its also how he gathered the engineers needed to make recoverable booster stages a success, or to turn EV's into a luxury product rather than plastic shit boxes. We're seeing similar play out in Twitter, with dumb ideas being played out, but the playbooks stumbling a bit as he's inherited very incompetent staff, so he's trying to make projects to aim for the sky, while also clearing out all the shit staff - Right now he's probably not sure how much of his initiatives failures are from them being bad ideas, and how much are from bad implementation from deranged or incompetent staff.
