what i don’t understand is how people look at what he’s doing and think he’ll run the company into the ground. they think the decision process of one of the most successful men alive is incompetent, while themselves living knee deep in debt.

i think maybe they project their own thought process onto elon’s, where they repeat shitty decisions over and over expect different results. it doesn’t take a genius to infer that a successful billionaire wouldn’t repeat the same actions in such a short period of time if it was negatively impacting his business.

maybe i’m overthinking it but i find it very telling that people project their own short sighted decision making onto someone who has a long term plan in place.

Your answer is in the before/after pictures posted a few posts earlier. To them, it doesn't matter if twitter works well or is profitable. It's about representation and safety.
