This is karmic justice for him and June endorsing Candid six years ago.
This makes me think - did any of the crowd that endorsed Candid later admit that they fell for a con? Those I remember just swept it under the rug.

I can't remember anyone turning the offer down outright and wonder if anyone did.

Do they have any regrets, or, based on how most of the skeptics' political beliefs changed, are they happy that they helped contribute to the censoring of hate speech on social media?

"I can't afford the internet or a house MY LIFE IS OVER EVERYTHING SUCKS THERE'S NO HOPE"

Or like go outside and get a job? That everyone does? That's some shit a 10 year old would say after his brother blows up his minecraft house
I don't think the problem is doing physical labour / basic work. The problem is once you have been in the heady heights of "fame", taking such a job is akin to saying publicly: "I have failed." The thought of showing up at a fan's doorstep with their pizza and hoping for a tip and being recognized - that's the disincentive. The daily "where did it all go wrong." It takes a special sort of humility to remove fame as part of your identity once it's become part of it. You have to reevaluate who you are and that terrifies most people.

Not that you shouldn't do it. If you can, then you can renew your life and build something better. But most people are too afraid to let go of who they were or thought they were.

I used to watch his movie review shows back in the day. I liked the long-form format and I thought the girl he sat across from was cute and quite fun. Leaving her may be the dumbest thing he ever did.

Pregory if you read this, you can always refresh your career by trooning out. Then you can always still commit suicide. You got the porn addiction and the long hair already, you're almost there!
I will never understand why men mock other men for balding and at the same time also mock other men for having long hair.

It's funny to think that the only e-personality in the last years that swallowed his pride and accepted his fate doing physical labor/ basic work was MundaneMatt. And he has been doing relatively fine. It's weird how 'being off-line' is used as insult lately.

He did fail, lol

Do the Skeptics even exist any more?

As others have mentioned, Greg's views aren't even that low. In my opinion, this isn't what a failed channel looks like. His refusal to upload consistently is his main problem.

Most of The Skeptics™ are past their prime, but there's still some interest. I remember when Lauren Southern complained to Destiny about her channel, and he called her out for not posting enough. These people want all the glory with barely any effort. Those days are over for them. Either put in the WORK or get a real job.

Lauren at least has a good excuse: she's already a mom and travelling to different parts of the world to make documentaries is harder when you have a family. People are more likely to invest and donate when you're going to another country to do real journalistic work. That's what made her work different from others. Just doing podcasts is what any other political YTer does.

late and a bit of an autistic nitpick, but gerg complaining about not being able to pay for internet struck me a little. internet is a basic right in canada and if you are low income/living off of welfare the government will issue you a code to give to a provider. this code will give you internet for $10 a month so either he’s lying about his income to get asspats, or he is broke and hasn’t bothered to inquire about it.
