The fuck even is that shit?

They still don't allow porn on Tumblr right?

Yup, porn and BDSM are still completely banned on Tumblr according to their Community Guidelines. These pornsick troons moving to Tumblr from Twatter are gonna find out the hard way when the TERFs who took over Tumblr after the porn ban start mass-reporting their t-porn, LMAO:

It's never gonna not be funny when these fucks run into the buzzsaw that is the fediverse. It feels so good to be on a level field again.
if someone is so inclined, you can probably make a stack of cash if you wanted to offer your services in setting up instances for people. I have zero knowledge about it though.

Not that the middle ages feudal lords were incredibly competent. The only advantage of the middle ages is that people could revolt with torches and pitchforks.

One out of ten times they managed to not being massacred, though.

Edit: Dyslexia
I think Feudalism was successful and the lords were generally competent. The first industrial nation was England, and most of Europe quickly followed. The three other major societies in the Middle Ages, the Eastern Roman Empire, the Ottoman Empire and China, all failed. Byzantium disintegrated entirely. The Ottoman’s lost half of Greece and collapsed after World War I (only shortly after having industrialized much later than the rest of Europe) and China still has not fully industrialized.
Whatever the media was planning has clearly failed already.

I feel it's worth noting that the people remaining on Tumblr have strong opinions about Twitter and shitting on migrating accounts is as regular there as it is in mastodon. If they hire Twitter expats the site isn't going to be happy.

It's also worth noting Tumblr lets you send anonymous DMs and the Twitter users really aren't enjoying the fact people can spam nigger at them and they can't report it.

I disagree with you. Feudalism was such a mess that monarchs spent a lot of time trying to get rid of it. Constant Game of Thrones tier shit through the middle ages kept Europe relatively stagnant. Only the rise of absolutism and monarchs BTFOing feudal lords allowed for European nations to truly prosper and conquer the world.

But I have had this discussion before about how this point of view some medieval historians consider to be influenced by propaganda from Renaissance and even more so Enlightenment historians. The "Dark Ages" myth. I don't think so. Not in this regard at least.

It was that power struggle between centralized power and the aristocracy that allowed for such efficient industrialization to happen at all. Stuff like the Magna Carta was a direct result of feudalism. Japan was a feudal society as well and underwent a very similar route to industrialization, it just took a lot longer.

This is a lot of words for "the friendly fire occurred because we're all absolute fucking idiots incapable of doing anything without incessant psycho meltdowns."
"We were on such high alert for kiwifarms arsonists, I didn't notice that it was actually my own pitchfork that fell over and knocked the torch into the curtains which burned my house down"
