I’ve been caught off guard by a newscaster, in an emotional setting for myself, and asked to give some words for their segment. I was completely unprepared for it, but I feel like I pulled it off well for the situation.

When I was four, there was a photo of my and my father in the local paper. He picked me up from preschool and there was a huge fire in an apartment building around the corner. Yeah she constantly implies that she's up to hardcore stuff (activism, education, suicide attempts, sex) but never actually is. When she leaves out details, I assume it's yet another nothingburger. If she really had tried to kill herself, we'd hear all about it in detail for weeks. If she really felt suicidal anguish over her half-sister (remember that?) she'd still be on about it. But she didn't and doesn't so we only hear half-assed made up allusions to this stuff.
So if she was buying a dildong she'd be like "omg I did it. I bought a donger." But since she's only alluding again, I'm assuming the "kinky thing" is like, a poly-satin blindfold that doubles as a sleep mask or some cringe item like that. Now with free 2 oz. bottle of massage oil!
