You would be surprised how much diversity bloat can get crammed into the 'productive' teams, especially when middle leadership is infected. You'll have two bipoc code reviewers for every actual coder, who's jobs consist entirely of finding any excuse in the code imaginable to fire the actual coder and put another bipoc in their place. The general premise of putting diversity hires into make work positions is all over software, and they bloat things, bottleneck things, and make it a nightmare for anyone to get anything done. Imagine a major product update being delayed for two months because one of the code reviewers got a stick up her ass over the use of the word "Whitelist" in the raw code. Not even the customer facing aspect, the raw uncompiled code.

Teams of 30 could be cut to teams of 8 and end up with net productivity gains, the leeches are that bad.

Never been a big fan of Musk but the fact that he's actually cleaning cheese pizza off Twitter is honestly based af.
