How did no one tell him this book was the worst idea. Everyone has done dumb shit in their life, but we for sure don't write a book full of them for everyone to read. The lack of self awareness from everyone involved is mind blowing even he if does have the tism.

He has been on the internet for a long time, and up until now did a job good separating his real life from his online stuff, no idea why he chose now to let it all out.

I feel 'fabricated image' is a bit harsh. While it can be argued that this book is an ego trip, James didn't have any obligation to tell us of his rough past. We've seen the genuine spergy James through his videos on movies, "The Dragon in My Dreams" and all that. He also also always open about Mike Matei's behind the scenes involvement, the degree in which Mike carried the production just only became apparent in the Screenwave era.
Ultimately I still like the guy, his devotion to his kids for better or worse is admirable and aside from some small hiccups like the Cheetahman incident, the movie's production and quality, and the Monster Madness fiasco he has largely avoided that distinct brand of youtube drama that's all too common.
