Is this confidential information? You haven't written anything like it into the article.

Not hard to infer. Let me elaborate.

Frank first went after Alison McBain (his ex) when she started to take her formative steps into Sci-Fi after years of emotional abuse by the guy. Incensed that she was now entering "his" circles, he went out of his way to bad-mouth her in a lengthy ZoePost-esque tirade that essentially demonized her for roughly two pages and unspecified emotional abuse in September of 2014.

Of particular note is this gem, emphasis mine:

Frank Wu said:
But now it seems like she's edging back into the sci-fi community, writing, going to conventions again. If she shows up at a convention I'm at, I will be compelled to call the police or inform the convention security of her insane and violently unpredictable behavior. She is dangerous.

I'll warn you now. If you see her, run far far away. She is fucking evil incarnate.

Note the complete preoccupation with her resuming her writing career and re-joining the sci-fi community. He doesn't say he's getting an order of protection, or that if she threatens him, he'll go to the authorities - he flat-out threatens to get the police involved if she so much as shows up at the same event as Frank. Even a cursory example shows him to be holding a pretty blatant grudge - especially since Frank's post, back in September, brought her up apropos of nothing.

Cut to a few months later, and Alison finally finds out that Frank accused her of being an abuser and of the lengthy post he made. And she responds, giving a massive fucking rebuttal that cites specific examples, long and detailed descriptions of what she endured, and which matched up with existing timestamps with other people.

Suffice to say, Frank was not pleased, and responded repeatedly in the comments of the article I linked in the above sentence. His doing so showed two things: That he wasn't going to be able to spin this in his favor, and that the court of public opinion had sided with Alison McBain. In fact, this led to several of Wu's associates defecting to McBain's camp because of this. Don't worry though: Brianna Wu attacked McBain too, attacking her as well in a lengthy segment accusing her of being a member of Gamergate because of course she did.

All indication is that McBain got her career in the air regardless of Frank's objections, getting some of her work published and getting some minor recognition for it, backed by her new family. Frank is a lot like Brianna Wu, but unlike his current wife, he knows when he's beaten on something, and continuing to attack McBain is a zero-sum game that would quickly risk stripping him of his hard-earned status. His only option was to back away from that. Frank doesn't care, he's successful regardless.

But Brianna Wu's still seriously salty about that loss.

Jesus Christ... I never gave two shits about John's butt-monkey, but that dude is just as fucked up as him.

Where were the timestamps? Thus far, all we have is he-said she-said, with both of them accusing the others of being monsters.

Wu didn't say McBain was in Gamergate, but she did say them in the same sentence.

So I checked up on the famous post here http://www.alisonmcbain.com/blog/speak-of-the-devil-the-lies-of-frank-wu to see if anything new had happened in the past year, and saw this comment:

Can't wait for her family to get some “peace” right Frank? The type of family peace that says: “Sorry kids, mommy can't tuck you in tonight because she's in jail after her vindictive ex-husband got all his industry buddies to make up lies about her in order to get her arrested...” Yeah, that's the ticket! Serves her family right for being related to her, huh Frank?

That piece of info was new to me.

I've seen some autism

Well, if we are to continue this form of 'tism....

Wu lives her life the exact same way DSP plays games- takes a lot of cheap shots, bitches when it doesn't go her way and if she plays with others, lets them do all the grunt work and takes the credit for herself.

If life was a video game, Wu is one of those weaksauce players that camps around the lower levels and grinds EXP off of pissant enemies. She looks cool to the newer players of the game until they realize she's never tried to really compete because she's too much of a chickenshit to play the game.

In situations like this, I like just pretending that everything both of them said about the other is true, while everything they said about themselves is pure lies.

Erasing "Natalie" again, John?

Written by a different person = "my". Way to erase yet another woman, John.

Interesting that you (a white male) also erased several of your very accomplished female POC co-contributors who will be speaking with you, John, but did mention the white female actual author of the book and the white male shitlord Microsoft alum who is moderating the discussion.

The panel includes:

You would LOVE to twist the Hugo committee around your autistic finger again and make the prizes seem even more worthless than they already are!

Frank has four Hugos for FAN art.

Frank has four Hugos for NON-PROFESSIONAL art.

Frank was never nominated for a Hugo in the "art category." He has only been nominated in the "fan artist" category.

It's like having Hugos for fanfic, stuff no one will pay for.

Is Flynt/Wu incapable of telling the truth about anything?

And Analog is not prestigious, much less "ultra-prestigious," as Flynt/Wu styles it in his typically overwrought and semi-hysterical manner.

Flynt/Wu attempting to call the SJW brigade to arms to ensure that Frank gets a "legitimate" Hugo is typical of how he operates. But I doubt that many of the SJWs will pay to attend WorldCon in order to stuff the ballot box at Flynt/Wu's command.

If the Sad Puppies shit showed anything other than blinding autism, it's that there are enough people out there willing to shell out cash for a vote in the circlejerk the Hugos have become to take it away from SJWs again if they get mad enough.

I don't think anyone is willing to go to bat for tranny chasing weirdo Frank Wu that much.

Which doesn't speak well for Mr. Wu.

The evidence I've gathered is circumstantial, mostly. If interested, read on.

We know, given his involvement in Gamergatesploitation (I'm coining that term because that's exactly what it is), that he's willing to fucking lie openly if it's in his interest. Hell, we've got him doing that both in Analog and on television over Deagle Nation, and we know, due to Brianna's butting her head in and trying to discredit McBain as a filthy Gamergater, that Brianna had a vested interest in seeing McBain's accusations go nowhere.

So there's that right out the gate.

But as for time, that's where things get interesting. McBain and Wu divorced in 2006 according to most records I've seen on the matter, and Wu married Brianna in 2008. During this time, Frank went on to win several awards for art, one of which featured in this fucking shambles. During this time, presence by McBain was relatively minimal beyond some minor stuff - until 2014 - when Frank's meltdown occurred.

The timing of that meltdown, however, is rather curious. It happened at the exact time that McBain herself was eligable to win a John W. Campbell award in 2014. This is no Hugo award, but it's still a heck of a prize for any neophyte Sci-Fi writer, because the people who decide who wins are the staff of Worldcon, where the Wu's are well-known repeat attendees:

FYI, Frank has been attending Worldcon events since 2004. The photo of Frank and Alison together is also at fucking Worldcon.

I haven't had the chance to sharpen the ol' shovel and go digging through Brianna Wu's Frank's possible personal ties at Worldcon, nor contact any of their staffers, mostly because of other stuff I've had to do, but there's ample evidence right there that shows that Frank had a total sperg-out over Alison being given a nomination. Alison herself didn't get her award until just recently, indicating that it'd been locked down for quite a bit.

Given what we know about Frank's willingness to run interference for Brianna and support her narrative, I think this is fairly logical, though again, without any real evidence beyond what I've presented, it must remain conjecture.

True. And the Sad Puppies are a fairly benign group. Flynt/Wu is already on the radar of Vox Day's Rabid Puppies, a group that would devour him like a Doberman scarfing down a small Milkbone biscuit.

I AM WORKING hard ON IT

Beautiful. Couldn't have trolled Flynt better if I'd hacked his account.

The March deadline (announced in both the video and "very very very very soon" or "in the next few weeks" from February 25th) is coming up hard and fast.

Wu has been in and out of his Steam account all day today, with no game play times being updated. No activity in the SteamDB.

Is there any peek into the iOS release mechanism?

As for "reporting 30 things a day, this post is still up. I was sure it would die this morning. Maybe the truth and safety commission is taking an Easter vaykay?

I have successfully reported people for saying they don't like it when people immigrate to the USA. The facebook report feature is practically a [troll me] button. It's entirely possible that she has actually been blacklisted from most sorts of reports because they want to actively discourage her and people like her from abusing the report feature.

If this is not the case she's trying to shame them into reaching out to make a personal heartfelt apology so that she can have a "backchannel" contact somewhere. Except facebook is concerned about courting the 1.3 billion completely un-PC people in PRC and couldn't give a fuck less about a bunch of american dangerhairs who have already eviscerated like 5 popular online communities.
