The thing about Bretons, is that they periodically buck break the redguards, along with the nords. Also Redguards are a beast race (technically), their accomplishments are comparable to orcs and Khajiit to no ones surprise. On a game play level, Altmer are the best in daggerfall, Bretons in Morrowind, Redguards Oblivion, and Orcs in Skyrim.

Too bad I only pick nord, the closest to the Atmorans.

Yeah, objectively speaking with the vanilla gameplay.
For a schizophrenic take of the lore and always maining the homeland's race in each game, i always play as Breton/Redguard in Daggerfall (depends if i want to do gay magic or full combat), Dark Elf in Morrowind (Hybrid between magic and combat, more focused in magic), Imperial in Oblivion (like the Dark Elf but combat-focused) and Nord in Skyrim (between going Two-Handed, One-Handed with Shield or Dual-Wielding).
At least since Morrowind, i done another playthroughts focused on Stealth, Magic and Combat if you ask.

Oh, it'll be released but will be filled with microtransactions and I wouldn't be surprised if they limit or out right ban modding.
Microtransactions maybe/probably, but banning modding would be downright suicidal because they themselves know that that's what gives their games such longevity and continued relevance. I seriously doubt that would happen.

With Microsoft in control I can see them making modding harder or impossible so they could sell more Creation Club bullshit. Modders are mostly PC players who make up a minority of players today as compared to console players. Hopefully this will push modders to create an opens source Skyrim engine like they did with Morrowind.

Yeah, and they'd never be dumb enough to release a shitty, online-only Games as a Service version of one of their games, microtransactions and all. Why, such a game would be a ruthlessly-mocked trashfire for years.

OH WAIT.

Elder Scrolls reached it's peak popularity on consoles that wouldn't allow modding. This only changed with Skyrim Special Edition, and the way I understand it is most console players *still* don't bother using mods much.

It is not nearly the death sentence people say it would be.

How is this mod? Is it woke or does it stay true to TES3?
It's not political at all, though there are troons in their development team. It comes up with a lot of its own lore for mainland morrowind, due to it not always being elaborated upon in official sources, though they're still building upon tes3-era sources of lore.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one that does this.
I'm similar, but I do the exact opposite. I choose the race that would be the biggest troll. Imperial/Argonian in Morrowind, and Altmer/Dunmer in Skyrim. Unfortunately there isn't a particularly good troll race in Oblivion and Orcs weren't playable yet in Daggerfall.

I play the race of the character I want to play, if I want to play a morally good character I choose; Dunmer, Altmer, or Breton. A morally mixed character; Bosmer, Breton, or Imperial. An Evil Character; Imperial, Nord, Orc or Khajiit. (I am not playing the two nigger races).

>morally good

Wha?

He has stated that will not remaster morrowind, He holds the struggles involved in morrowind close to his heart and its success probably elated him to no end, it was an all or nothing gambit where he crunched pretty much the whole ordeal.

Wasn't Morrowind remastered essentially what they did with regard to the Morrowind module for The Elder Scrolls Online?
