Call of Duty Thread - Potential return to form? Or nothing but cope on the horizon? You decide!

I wish I was able to finish the campaign. I've been running into a deathloop on Veteran Difficulty because of shader problems. Even when resetting the shaders, I run across the same issue.

As for Multiplayer, the XP felt so minimal when you are a PC player without the battle pass. Playstation 5 players get the better end of the game because of the exclusivity deal they have with Sony.

MW2019's Ground War is one of the most frustrating experiences I had in multiplayer. The maps are massive with no predictable flow to them. Spawning is broken; it's not uncommon to spawn into enemy fire or near an enemy squad. You'd get swarmed left, right, up, behind, almost every direction imaginable.

The TTK with the slower movement does not blend well with Battlefield style maps and no team mechanic to support or aid your team beyond killstreaks.

Ghost has a face model under the mask. For some reason everyone is surprised that it is his voice actor. (although the joke is he looks like Buzz Lightyear I guess)

IW apparently has been saving new stickers as jpeg instead of png, so they don't have a transparency

And I can say on my end, the goblin walk has quickly made me regret my purchase of this game

Then what does it do? Because I thought the point was that you were trading velocity or range for a bit more kick when hitting armored targets.

I like the new weapon leveling system, where when you unlock different attachments, they are unlocked for every weapon in that class that can use it I think.

I'm not a fan of big modes like Warzone. For multi-player I usually play free for all or domination.

Getting frustrated with campaign. I can't get past
Driving around the mines, I always loose them or get taken out.
It's a pain in the ass.

I don't see what all the fuss about SBMM is. It feels the same as ever. I'm always matched with people who couldn't find their own ass with both hands and a GPS, against usually obvious hackers (zipping around the map at next to light speed, literally 1080 headshotting people, tracking through walls, the whole shebang).

I found great success with tailing enemy vehicles when I wanted to be lazy and not just...dodge the mines. Of course, when dodging, you almost always had civvys that would, even in death, magnet towards me.

It still does increased damage to vehicles and killstreaks (chopper gunner, VTOL, UAV, etc.). Not much though, I'm hearing people say it's a less than 10% increase making it an extremely niche attachment at best.

The update also removed the ability to kill boss characters in DMZ with vehicles by making all "boss zones" have an infinitely lasting EMP that immediately stalls vehicles and renders their weapons inoperable upon entering. Apparently people were just getting those pesky weapons, blueprints and skins way too easily, which tells me they're going to be for sale in a few days.

The issue I've always had with SBMM is I'd have one match that felt normal, then I'd get a match against retards on the verge of forgetting how breathing works, and for the rest of the night I'm playing against the sweatiest gremlins running nothing but meta with their sensitivity and audio cranked to max.

The game doesn't take into consideration why I did so good for one match, just that I did really good and therefore should be playing against MLG pros to compensate. Then to make sure it's not 50/50 on fun matches, it takes fucking way too long to realize I'm now doing poorly and need to be sent to a lower bracket.

Gamers are just better on average and min max everything now. The biggest detractors of SBMM are always washed up YouTubers too.

Matchmaking or server browser multiplayer is different nowadays. Drop a movement abusing gfuel zoomer in a quake lobby give him a couple hours and he will be wrecking.

So I was considering buying this, what's the kf consensus is it worth it or not? It should be noted that I loved mw2019 and that I'm the type of player to sweat and abuse movement and all that stuff.

Yeah, pretty much

I don't hate it as much as some people, but you can get into this fucked up loop where you bounce between tard lobbies and sweat lobbies constantly.
It's more prominent in MW2019 than Cold War. I could get bloodthirsty medals and sprees regular in CW, but I'd be lucky to get a Personal Radar.

God, whoever is the fucking retard that decided gulags had to be 2v2 needs to be shot.

Seriously, the only way that idea works is if you're doing duos. Other than that, it either separates you from your squad, pairs you with a worthless retard, or both.

It's great. I've been playing it a lot. It's buggy and still unfinished but fun. You can play Warzone/DMZ for free to get a feel for the gameplay first if you want before you spend $70. (it does feel and play somewhat different than MW2019)

Yeah, very dumb doing it in not-duos. Whatever retard you get paired with is not gonna help you and they're going to fuck off and do their own thing, even more dumb considering they added the teamwork mechanic to gulag (kill the jailer and everyone plays again).

Also, you can vote on who you think is going to win the World Cup (???) in MW2 now, and you get an emblem and XP or something if you're right.

Did the overnight patch from a few days ago completely fuck with the DMZ AI?

I swear to god they have milisecond reaction time and pin point aiming now even when I'm not playing solo. It's made DMZ almost impossible to play unless we just grab a Hummer/LTV/HTV and run all enemies down.

I was just playing and it seems like the same bullshit.

Trying to loot the train is pointless because the AI can literally see right through the compartment walls and they headshot wallbang you. The only reason I haven't been playing more DMZ is because of how bullshit the AI is.

Yeah, I had a lot of fun with it the first day or two. Now it just seems frustrating.

I'm convinced there is some kind of fuckery with the AI. I swear enemies have started just spawning right behind me, and some games there seems to be less of them and some there are more and I can't figure out WTF determines it.

I also think there is some fuckery with the spawning, since every game now I seem to spawn right next to another squad which leads to a shootout right off the bat, but I'm willing to believe this was always fucked up and there were just less people playing DMZ early on in favor of Warzone 2.0.

Like I'm willing to admit I'm not good, but these fuckers on the subreddit saying "just take things slow" sound fucking retarded. How slow am I supposed to take this mode that has a 30 minute timer and other players running around trying to kill me as well?
