Seems that there was conflict between her and the audio director. I heard a lot of people shitting on MWII’s soundtrack being lackluster
What soundtrack?

There's a remix of the theme from the first game on the title menu and in some cutscenes and like a 10 second loop that plays during the convoy mission and sporadically (I still haven't figured out WTF triggers it) in the Invasion mode.

I think I might have heard one other 10 second loop that played during a regular multiplayer match game. Like I said, I can't for the life of me figure out what triggers it.

The comment about how she can't control how the soundtrack is presented "in game" makes me wonder if there is a decent soundtrack there and this audio director is just a complete fucking retard. I'm not some aduiophile but my normie ass ears can't stand how the volume is handled in the game tbqh. I'm always having to fiddle around with the volume controls.

Frankly I have no clue how it’s presented in the game because I haven’t played or heard it, but going off the recent Mick Gordon fiasco I’d imagine she presented work that was more up to par with hers on MW2019, but a lot of it probably wasn’t implemented in the game or thrown out of the window entirely for some bizarre reason.

Surprised nobody brought this up. The composer for MWII and for MW2019 Sarah Schachner posted on Twitter about her not composing for MWII/Warzone anymore.

Seems that there was conflict between her and the audio director. I heard a lot of people shitting on MWII’s soundtrack being lackluster, especially compared to MW2019’s being supposedly good (I haven’t listened to it so I wouldn’t know because I haven’t touched a CoD since Infinite Warfare because fuck CoD, fuck Activision, fuck Treyarch, fuck IW and fuck Sledgehammer). This was posted on November 3rd, which was also 6 days before Mick Gordon dropped his statement on composing for Doom and working with id and Bethesda. Can’t forget about the shaft Martin O’Donnell has gotten from Bungie. Seems like composers for AAA video games are getting shit on by higher ups pretty regularly.
I've played a bit of MWII and the score I've heard is more forgettable than what she did in MW (2019). Maybe she did a shit job and the audio director was too scared of being labeled misogynist or sexist for telling her to do better.
Also not every composer get fucked by the game studios. Jack Wall and Bear McCreary did a great job on their respective CoD soundtracks. The score for Vanguard was probably the only good thing about the game BTW.

That’s one of the first things I noticed about MW2 is that the music is nowhere near as good as MW2019.

After spending last night trying to grind out the M13 and rage quitting after having that thing in my possession at least five times; I decided to change my approach. Play the mode normally without worrying about the Chemist and do the early missions and maybe later go for the Chemist if it makes sense. I have to say it made me like the mode and change my thoughts I had.

I like the casual Tarkov approach. While it doesn't have an inventory system to stockpile armor and etc, I don't mind it since it narrows the equipment gap between players. Great players can't just go buy top of the line gear prior to insertion like they can in Tarkov and further the skill level divide. I only solo queue and its not hard to get a gun when you don't spawn with one. As soon as you find an RPK, you're set; it's a great weapon to mow down bots and players.

My complaint about the bots still remains. The bots can go from potato to beam you on unlucky shit. It's like the game knows you are far enough ahead and starts to screw you over. I don't really have a suggestion on how to fix them beyond using a Gaussian curve to calculate noise for aiming so the instant headshots are more rare.

I like the mode now and I finally got the M13 after having enough experience with the map.

I like DMZ when I'm playing with friends, but I'm getting real fucking tired of turning corners or opening doors just to get instantly downed by an AI reacting before I can.

For twenty dollars, it's actually a good deal. Story has some great moments, MP is arcadey, Zombies is pure kino and I very much enjoyed it.
Just bought Cold War. Will be trying out the multiplayer, then the single player. It'd probably be best to play MW2019 and Cold War back to back in parity to understand their differences. First impressions are great so far.

One of the best COD campaigns, and easily the best of the MW2019 era. I had tons of fun playing zombies with my friends in the open world zombie mode they added and the regular zombies is great too.

Anyone have any interest in joining a Kiwi COD group? This game is played mainly by retards and having actual gamers to help complete missions, DMZ etc would be good.

If you're wrong and I hate it, I'm pounding at your door to demand money.
It is certainly better than Vanguard, but as my old coach used to say, Ain't hard to improve on dog shit. The seasonal events were absolutey kino and Ghostface as an OP was surprisingly an amazing inclusion. I can't deny that the game had some flaws, but it's damn fun with some friends. The only thing that was garbage, fireteam dirty bomb.

On one hand this sounds like bad opsec joining a group, but on the other hand, I agree.

I get that. I don't advertise my Activision account anywhere else and it could be handled through a private DM.

I don't follow it because I'm not gay, but isn't there a Kiwi Farms FC for FFXIV?

First impressions: I'm loving the aesthetic art direction and fan service with Cold War's UI. I'm noticing graphical glitches and stutters, but nothing game-breaking. I cannot wait to experience more of this game.

If anyone wants to join a kiwi farms cod discord to do some DMZ missions, warzone, or pretty much anything, DM me. I know discord is gay but it’s better than telegram for gayming. The server will not be named anything related to kiwi farms for your opsec.

The story is absolutely up there with Black Ops 2 in terms of replayability and I enjoy every second of it. The ending is pure KINO. I enjoy Adler too, and find him a fun foil. Hudson is always a treat, love to hate him. The MP OPS are also unusually well designed and not generic. I love Stitch, even if he is Dark Knight Rises Bane and more Adler is great.
Zombies is great and the exfil option is an amazing addition. I love that zombies is no longer a slow and inevitable death. Easter Egg songs are also great and a few easter eggs end with boss fights.

Just play solos, unless you're a pussy.

Seriously, I'll never understand the obsession with shoving squads into everything, especially shit like Warzone and DMZ, where the isolation makes it that much better.

A solo mode for DMZ would be great, but currently the AI aim is way too good and the AI armor is way too strong to make doing it feasible.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy playing it solo, but it is damn near impossible to do certain missions or go through certain areas.

Also, if anyone wants a Burger Town Operator skin for free, here's a tutorial that worked for me

I know getting mad at kotaku is retarded but come on, who the fuck is going to click on something with that title. At this point i'm convinced they are baiting those hate-clicks.

Honestly, I like what they did for the camo system, where every gun has different camo choices and all normal camos can be used on all guns. It gives a lot more variety for color choice. (Also because the plain white camo looks cool as fuck on pretty much every gun I've tried it on.)

Finally getting around to do the campaign, and aside from some things not making any fucking sense (why let the terrorist go? Just fucking shoot him and erase any trace indicating you caught him) it's been decently fun.

So far the mission "Alone" would probably be the biggest standout that was fun and unique if not for the fact I had a bug where all lights were visible through everything. It's incredibly difficult seeing enemies when a lamppost 3 areas away is visible overtop everything.

Talking about camos, Cold War has the standard "get bloodthirsty (5 consecutive kills) and eliminations" to unlock camps. Some weapons are easier than others to grind for camps. Depends on map, mode and skill. Quite frustrating.
