Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't a consent accident when there is a misunderstanding/miscommunication where you honestly believe you have consent from the other person, but you really don't? It is entirely possible that the "rape" reported by Dog Hair Person was exaggerated. It's also entirely possible that Dong Gone's claim that he was "raped" by a sissy hypno-loving manager at Google is exaggerated. But it's just as easy to assume both claims are correct, given the polyqueer autist community's longstanding boundary and consent issues.

I'd also note that Consent Accident Jones spent months accusing KF of swatting, stalking, and LITERALLY KILLING troons by laughing at them. He's hardly in a place to complain that the people he smeared are blowing things out of proportion.

You could use it as a euphemism to downplay actual sexual assaults but the term is supposed to be used for stuff like when you're already having consensual sex and you slide your finger down to her asscrack kind of tentatively to see what's up and she sort of grinds back against your hand so you're like "oh okay guess she wants me to put my finger up there" and then immediately after you put your finger up there you find out suddenly and very, very loudly that no, she absolutely did not want you to put your finger up there.

I totally see your point, but I don't particularly care that we're acting in pseudo bad faith when calling him a rapist. Holding people to their own standards is funny, especially someone like Elliot that is more than willing to destroy the concept of free speech on the internet for no other reason than being butthurt about anonymous people making fun of him. Regardless of what happened, the truth is apparently somewhere in the middle, and we haven't heard his victim's side of the story. In Rules for Radicals, Saul Alinsky notes that one of the most effective weapons you have is forcing your opponent to play by their own rules. Look at the way the lefties are seething and dilating on Twitter because they are suddenly being held to standards they assumed would only be used against the Eebil Nahtsees. Or how the troons are running around in circles because Aldrich has declared himself non-binary and by their rules, we must respect his ahem their pronouns.

I disagree strongly with just about every political stance Alinsky ever held, but Rules for Radicals is absolutely worth a read and you can find it on the Internet Archive or in PDF form pretty easily.

It ultimately doesn't matter if LFJ is actually a rapist, the fact is that he went and made a preemptive statement about his "consent accident," which is not a thing you do unless you feel like it's going to be a problem in the future. So while I really doubt ole' Squarejaw literally held a person down and raped them (edit: how would he even do that without a dick lmao, I guess a strapon), I don't doubt that it was a very bad experience for that person, and the fault for that bad experience was due to Dong-Gone, and thus: Dong-Gone is a disgusting freak monster. Even if he's not a literal rapist, he's still someone who hurt someone, and thus: fuck him, don't give him the benefit of a doubt. At the very least, he's a sexual-assaulter, which is still fucking awful but doesn't sound as good to me as "rapist" Just call him a rapist, and do it proud.
