For the foreseeable future they will probably pretend that it's true. The KF article on wikipedia is no longer allowed to have a link to the forum thanks to a wiki tranny that lives in dublin and when googling kiwifarms the site itself doesn't come up(at least for me), it's just articles about KF being evil/dead. Unless you google the actual url, but if you are curious about visiting the forum why would you do that?

It's actually interesting how much GVH wants to be like NiTW but clearly missing what made NiTW so popular and loved. Sure, it had furry characters, but the characters were written well and came off as people you could have know, met or even been one at some point. Heck, even characters like Gregg, his homosexuality wasn't even the front of his character, it was worry about his reckless nature and AHDH disorder, how everything could lead to him losing his boyfriend and ending up as nothing.

I just finished the game. Got all the endings. Read all the bonus chapters. And caught up with this thread. Apparently someone already archived these links several weeks ago so I checked the past few pages so I don't get clocks. With that out of the way, let's get down to this... autism.
The sperging essentially boils down to the following points:
a.) Snoot Game was created to dunk on Goodbye Volcano High solely because it was a LGBT-positive game. Because trans bad and dino gf hot.
b.) The writing isn't good, is set up to be a wish-fulfilment, self-insert fantasy and suggested the artwork is only good because GVH's artwork was good.

Snoot Game isn't just some parody to a clearly flawed source material. If anything, it excels beyond what GVH could be. It can stand on its own because genuine effort was made to make it that way. It wasn't meant to be a shitpost that would garner laughs in some imageboard and be forgotten the next day. It was meant to explore whatever potential the source material had and a bunch of people on one of the world's greatest "internet hate machine" actually made something admirable from it. Sure it was mockery, but it wasn't just tasteless. Snoot Game presented a narrative that wasn't narrow-minded, insular, or solely anti-LGBT. And it explored an idea that many people would not even be willing to explore in the current climate. The idea being that sometimes what you identify as is not what you should be, but who you are should come from within and should be a result of your own agency.

First of all, if Snoot Game was solely made to dunk on Goodbye Volcano High just because of "LGBT bad, dino hot" it wouldn't even be remarkable or decently memorable in any way. If it was, Snoot Game would've been just another satirical jab that doesn't contribute anything salient to the table. Snoot Game would not have all that effort poured into it if they were just gonna turn it into another tasteless parody conjured with the schizophrenia of autists from 4chan. Cavemanon saw something in the source material (or whatever was developed anyways) and saw potential in it. The reason why Snoot Game got the reputation it rightfully deserved was because there were people who were genuinely interested in trying to make something better. The writing, artwork, and overall outcome of the game was good because there were people who genuinely wanted to write a better story.
If Snoot Game was just some wish-fulfilment, self-insert fantasy game then... it would be just another boring VN. The outcomes would've already been predictable. There would've only been 1 ending where you get what you actually want. Sure Anon, the protagonist you play as, has the characteristics of your average dreg in the internet. But this Anon is a genuine character. The reason why Anon has those characteristics is because the game wants you to be able to relate to him. Anon grows as a character, much like your average person would. Anon tries to become a better person (which you should strive to do the same) and definitely doesn't want to fuck the love interest just because he wants to. In this game, Anon connects with Fang and the rest of the gang, and in turn develop good relationships with each other through the various tribulations they encounter. There wasn't even a sex scene for fuck's sake and the lewd content is entirely optional and doesn't add anything to the narrative.
Fang being mocked because she's non-binary isn't the whole point of the game. It doesn't revolve around that miniscule point. And no, it definitely isn't anti-LGBT. Because if Snoot Game was anti-LGBT it would've been blatantly obvious (like being filled with countless tasteless points kind of obvious). The reason why Fang identified as such was because Trish was a goddamn control freak and wanted Fang to be an "ideal" version of herself. In the bonus chapters, namely the Passion of the Trigga, Trish's character and motives were further explored. The reason why Trish really wanted the band to become popular was because she wanted to support her family. And while it isn't wrong, her actions were clearly misguided. It doesn't help that she grew up in a terrible household environment. Trish wanted to control whatever variables she can control so she can get to that goal. And Fang was one of those variables, so she befriended her and became the best friend who could literally dictate who and what Fang should be.
Arguably you can make it a legitimate point that Snoot Game did not present a counterpoint to the whole Fang non-binary thing. Fang's enby-ness was presented under a bad light but only because it should rightfully be so. If Fang genuinely wanted to be NB with valid, justifiable, and rational reasons, then it would be wrong to present that solely under a bad light. Though, I imagine it would complicate the development of Snoot Game as Cavemanon would have to account for the possible dialogue and consequences that would result from exploring that idea. And perhaps they would need to make another game just to be able to fully explore that idea and be able to present it fairly.
Honestly I don't care about what gender identity you want to identify with. But what you do with that identity and how it came to be is everyone's business and is not immune to criticism. You can be gay, lesbian, or trans, whatever I don't care. But if you end up like Chris Chan, Liz No Dong-Jones, Keffals, or the other genderspecial lolcows, then expect repercussions to be sent your way.
Oh by the way, the reason why Fang ends up being miserable in Ending 2 even though she embraced the enby identity is because she never really grew as a person. Partly because of Anon who also never grew up on that route.

This would mean people working on Goodbye Volcano High would have to examine why they themselves might be enby. I think it would be understandable if they were uncomfortable by the thought, but then why make a game BLASTING YOUR TOTAL UTTER NONBINARYNESS if you're not willing to accept what brought you there? They haven't been challenged much, they have "you are what you are what you are" on their brains. Lesbians and gays actually sat there and were grilled by themselves or others, and came out with tons of good literature on the subject. Some even realize they do it because of reasons they shouldn't (e.g. abuse by opposite sex), but accept it as is and understand it's part of them. There's incredibly few transitioners who do this, they're either old or fully through the system and at peace with mistakes if they made them. There's also a good lack of self reflective capacity in the genderdome, whether it's due to not everyone having self reflection or various abnormalities like autism and personality disorders varies by community. Being encouraged to feel and not think doesn't help.
Basically, writing about how someone could legitimately mistake themselves into being transgender triggers the black and white thinking of the group so hard it causes them to blindly flail with rage at whoever's nearest. I've met quiet, reasonable trans and nonbinary people, but that's the thing: they're quiet and avoid the giant screaming clusterfuck that is the rest of their kin because they know trying to fight anyone who's brain is hardwired on feelings is a losing battle.
When you don't count lesbians as people, you count them as objects and points to be earned by your side. I'm not kidding. Even cis TERF lesbians do it. Sometimes other people become so abstract to you due to a tribal sports-team mentality or as said earlier mental abnormalities that you can't see it as otherwise.

Gregg and angus being gay, as well as Mae being non-binary are handled in a very great way, mostly because the game and character identity isn't dependant on LGBT+.

I don't see something including progressive or LGBT+ neither as a quality nor flaw, but it can become a hindrance and, if you want an example, just take look at the shitty and twisted way modern disney Disney writes feminism: putting a female character above and better than everyone, granting them no flaws and even make them gifted from birth, unable to struggle against their problems and immediately capable of overocming them without learning and improving themselves, always in the right, especially in a confrontation against male character, which also constantly praises them... It doesn't feels like competent writing, it's fanfiction.
I don't have played snoot game, but I think I will, after the goodbye comes out and I am able to give it a try, I really hope they don't make my expectations come true, but I have little to no hopes left...

On the topic of Trish being a controlling bitch, i always found that funny because, looking at the GVH trailers, it seems like Cavemananon flipped the dynamic the devs had in mind (at least before the re write) between Fang and Trish. As you already mentioned, Fang and Trish's relation in Snoot game is one were due to her life circumstances, Trish tries to groom Fang and has a degree of control over her life, but looking at the GVH reveal trailer, at least to me it looked like Fang was the dominant one over Trish, as there's even a scene where Fang seethes at seeing Trish interact with Rosa, which gave me big Life Is Strange vibes with Fang being like Chloe and Trish being like Max.
And another thing that Twitter guy forgets to mention is that while Snoot may appear impartial by not having a happy ending where Fang is "Queer", (Spoiler alert for Ending 3 just in case): Ending 3 also portrays the idea of a God fearing trad wife negatively as while "Lucy" may appear happy in the surface, she also became a shut in who replaced Idpol stuff with religion and stopped playing music as she genuinely enjoyed. So you can say in that, although Anon is happy with who he ended up with, who he fell in love with was Fang, not Lucy.

When it comes to KO_OP and GVH, it’s impossible for the game to ever release for one simple reason. The work culture at KO_OP. To them, it should go like this: “work at your own pace, no deadlines, crunch bad, diversity uwu.” When you can’t get anyone in there to crack the fucking whip, you’ll never get shit done. That type of work culture encourages laziness, and that’s why the release date will be pushed back to 2022, then 2023, then 2024, etc. People talk shit about yanderedev, but at least he kinda has a build of a game that DID RELEASE. GVH is never coming. On one hand, I don’t want it to release so the cycle keeps on going because that’s funny. On the other, I want it to release so people absolutely tear it apart and the devs are too embarrassed to ever come into the public eye again. What an EMBARRASSMENT.
