Probably divorced from Indy after their son was KIA because why have one Harrison Ford character be a shit dad when you can two.
Slight correction as Harrison Ford played as another shit dad in Blade Runner 2049. And there's his "serious" films which I haven't watched but chances are he probably played as shit dads in a few of them. Did know he played a shit husband in Presumed Innocent.

Here you go:

>Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny
>Film takes place in 1969
>Mutt Williams dies in Vietnam, flashback war footage of Shia is shown
>Helena Brody, the granddaughter of Marcus Brody searches for an artifact
>The artifact is the Dial of Destiny, which can manipulate time
>The Dial can turn time forward and back, but only at important moments of destiny, not wherever you are using it
>Voller is an ex nazi who works for NASA, secretly wants the Dial to ensure the Nazis win WW2
>Helena convinces Indy to join her for one last quest
>Voller gets the artifact first but Indy and Helena arrive to fight him
>Mid fight, the dial is turned, shifting in and out of important time periods throughout history
>Donald Trump being sworn in, Roman soldiers attacking an army, Jesus Christ being crucified, Dinosaurs on the hunt, and a futuristic version of Earth are all shown in the sequence
>Voller eventually gets the time to go to 1936, Indy and Helena are transported with him
>In 1936, Young Indiana is about to swap out the golden idol, when he is suddenly tackled by the three of them
>Old Indiana grabs hold of the Dial and turns it to 1969, on the Apollo 11 rocket which is about to launch for the Moon
>Voller wins and escapes to an unknown date, Old and Young Indy have a chat, Helena rewards Young Indy with a kiss
>Voller finds his past self and explains the Dial, young Voller murders old Voller, 1969 now has nazi flags in every government
>Helena Old and Young Indy find the scientist who created the Dial, to craft a second
>The scientist reveals himself to be an older Voller, kills old Indy, and escapes to the past
>Helena chases Voller, with young Indy sacrificing himself to kill the both of them
>With no Indy, Helena knows to save the timeline of destiny she must walk the path of Indy to preserve the timeline
>Helena recreates Iconic moments that Indy was in during the original trilogy, however "INDIANA JONES WILL RETURN" appears just before credits
This reads like a shitpost riffing on No Time to Die. Has "Indiana Jones will return" ever been a thing in this series?

Also, why not just re-up Shia as Indy Jr? HWNDU jokes aside, he managed to survive 3 films on Michael Bay's notorious sets.

....I'm fucking done. I am literally done with this fucking company. YOU CAN'T SAY YOU'RE CHAMPIONING BLACK VOICES WHILE LITERALLY ERASING A BELOVED BLACK CHARACTER FROM THE L&S REMAKE BECAUSE HE'S NOT THE "CORRECT" RACE. LITERALLY GO FUCK YOURSELVES WITH AN EXTRA SPIKY CACTUS.
It's possible she's a bit part before Bubbles shows up. Unfortunately that feels wildly optimistic at this point.

I remember the days when disney was so devoted to being family friendly that they wouldn't even include the concept of "parents" or "kids" in their cartoons because that would imply sex had taken place. Scrooge isn't Donald's grandpa, he's his uncle, and Hewey Lewey and Dewey aren't Donald's kids, they're his newphews, always trying to maintain a degree of seperation to keep things as "innocent" as possible and make sure parents would know that little kids wouldn't be asking any funny questions.

How did we go from that to disney openly advertising "LOOK AT OUR PERVERTED CHARACTER LOOK HOW MUCH HE LIKES TAKING COCK UP HIS ASS HE LOVES UNCONVENTIONAL SEX LOOK PARENTS LOOK KIDS LOOK"

Not to mention turning red staring a teen girl literally whoring herself out in the school bathrooms selling pictures of her "panda" and renting herself out to be "ridden" in parties and portraying her mother upset with this as the villain.

I think that was the original intent given the ending of KOTCS. But people didn't like Shia in the movie which killed that idea. Indiana is a buff Stright white male who represents another time. By erasing him from existence it's like trying to erase that era away.

Here's my conspiracy theory. Midterms went better than excepcted for dems, so Biden will get support for a reelection run on 24 so Iger backed off and jumped back into Disney to further inflate his ego and his profile with wokeshit.

And Chapek was an idiot.

Not sure if there is a thread here already on it, but the new Willow show was doing alright up until the reveal that the princess (the daughter of mad martigan and sorsha) is gay for Ellora (or at least who I think is Ellora. I can get past the way more diverse cast than the original movie, but must EVERYONE be gay? It felt very token and forced too, like, I just wanna watch a cool fantasy adventure, not see teenage lesbians.

I saw Willow and immediately thought of my girl from Buffy. Unfortunately, now there's another Willow-related involving sudden lesbianism (I still wish they called my girl bi...).

This is less of being a do gooder for minorities, and more of sexual fetishism disguised as progressiveness. Now a days, objectification and exploitation are seen as empowerment and striking a blow for civil rights. Modern day cartoonists just need to come out of the pedophilia closet, and admit their cartoons and media are not for families, but for adult child pedophiles.

At least it is being honest, but we can't have that at Disney. Nope nope nope.

Two nukes weren't enough
I wonder if even just one meteor of doom will be enough?

I think the Kodansha staff taked a bad drink quality: they decided to enter a partnership with Disney.

Some Youtubers posted interesting comments.

Fair Play

Japanese content sponsored by American companies generally don't do well; Netflix's Death Note and other anime projects are a great example of this. This could be an attempt by the woke to destroy the anime industry, forcing them to change the elements that make Japanese storytelling great, by sanitizing them for a "modern audience" through monetary blackmail.

Disney is absolutely desperate at this point, so they will grasp at whatever straws are available in order to try and save themselves. To me, it seems like Disney has spent too much money and lost too much money on failed movies for them to survive.

I guess Disney plus can being money but from what I heard it sounds like it still hasn't eclipsed netflix.
164m subscribers, apparently. Which I find hard to believe, but maybe.

But yeah you can look up their SEC filings online. Movie revenue is not doing so hot but the fact that Disney+ literally makes them more money than fucking ESPN is putting in work covering the shortfall up.

Dude, disney + is years away from being profitable. Great deal of those subscribers aren't paying for it, they just got free disney plus with their cellphone or something. Plus you have tons subcribes from poor countries like India that day pennies for their subs. Disney+ isn't a money making machine, not yet and maybe even never. That to be said it was a great to have with the pandemic closing so much of their businesses but even then it was more for show investors to stay.

Look up the last quarterly statement they filed with the SEC.

OK.

Attached is the 10Q for the last quarter ended, 10K for the last year ended and the earnings call transcript from just over a week ago.

You'll see, on the third page of the Earnings Call transcript, Chapek saying "And assuming we do not see a meaningful shift in the economic climate, we still expect Disney+ to achieve profitability in fiscal 2024 as losses begin to shrink in the first quarter of fiscal 2023".

For the yearly; on the 10K there's this extract from page 45 of the pdf.

"Operating Loss from Direct-to-Consumer
Operating loss from Direct-to-Consumer increased $2,336 million, to $4,015 million from $1,679 million due to a higher loss at Disney+ and, to a lesser
extent, lower operating income at Hulu and a higher loss at ESPN+."

For the quarter; of the 10Q there's this extract from page 45 (again!) of the pdf.

"Operating Loss from Direct-to-Consumer
The operating loss from Direct-to-Consumer increased $768 million, to $1,061 million from $293 million, due to a higher loss at Disney+, lower
operating income at Hulu and, to a lesser extent, a higher loss at ESPN+."

Disney+ is not a money maker. It's a loss maker.
