I think a lot of it has to do with current year politics dictating that you can't have non whites or fags voiced by whites and straigth people. So if you've got a black character, or a "black coded" fantasy race it needs a black voice actor. If the character is trans they have to find a trans actor.
That's why Majordomo Selistra sounds so shit, they had to find the one voice actor that thinks they're a nonbinary furrykin

Also people have noticed there's a subtle difference between the Mexican and Spanish localisation

First one is European Spanish right? Because what I assume to be Latin American sounds more subversive with saying that it's interesting instead of very serious.
 
So six people from my classic guild have been playing the xpac, and the common consensus is that Dragon riding is amazing, and most of them are already max level even though they were dicking around.

Interesting to see how fast they drop off, they'll last at least a month if the raids are good.

Other aggressively woke writing it depends. If you like legion and its handling of endgame you might enjoy it. I’m personally enjoying the expansion so far and I actually really like the dragon riding but that’s because my typical expectations of a wow expansion are pretty moderate. If you don’t like how legion handles it’s endgame and if dragonriding isn’t your thing, you are not really missing anything. It just depends to be brutally honest.

So now that I figured out dragon riding (yay for the exploit to not have to do that race) it’s an ehhhhhxpansion. I will admit flying around and finding the glyphs is a lot of fun. Having serious déjà vu vibes with the sigils. I mean oathstones this time around.

I would like to roast the fox dragon in a Minecraft fire due to its voice. Or use the vulpera racial to roast it.

Also, bets on Alexstrasza getting the whole Blizzard strong female character treatment and becoming a raid boss next?

You can get a dragon riding skill where if you nose dive you do damage on hitting the ground and stun someone. I am using this then vanishing like the good little rogue I am.

After playing through with my friends my final conclusion is : Reddit the expansion

It’s honestly amazing how every aspect of the art has become so soulless. The art style now looks like generically cartoony furry slop, the writing continues to be a travesty (now with extra AIDS and XD so quirky marvel writing), and now the music feels like there’s little passion in it along with everything else. These details just activate my autism and sperg out :heart-empty:

Gameplay wise dragonriding is decent but will likely get boring quickly. Haven’t touched professions yet so can give any opinion on that. Evoker is weird to me and don’t know how to feel about it, pretty meh.

As far as player opinion, like SL, BFA, and iirc WoD, a lot of people enjoyed it, some praising it at the beginning, but after two to three months for it to settle in, opinion changed drastically.

WoD had a really solid opening but then after about a month or two it died, and the lack of any new content for the whole expansion just made it worse. The Mythic raids that WoD did have were pretty good though, but splitting High Maul and BRF the way they did was rather stupid as despite them sort of sharing a tier, once BRF was out there was no reason to go to High Maul.

Dragonriding is pretty solid. Getting all of the glyphs is sort of stupid fetch quest busy work but it's across account so whatever. It mostly works fine pre-max glyphs and it works great max glyphs unless you are doing a lot of herbing/mining and make too many stops too quickly going up hill. A friend compared it to Gliders in Archage and I understand the idea even if I don't agree. Archage gliders feel amazing mostly because the maps are so empty, and WoW maps just aren't built like that.

Story is bad but I avoid reading quests and skip cutscenes for that very reason. Sindragosa's pre-death memory clone was kind of weird and it's dumb california bullshit to make her humanoid form a dark african skinned blood elf but whatever. Chromie's quests weren't great either but they had some moments, the tauren bronze dragon is the only half memorable new character.

Also everyone should fear new random asspull tier boss (((Raszageth)))

As far as I recall he was only getting on average 100 views per stream when playing ffxiv. I guess the leprechaun’s rainbow lead him right back to where he started from. Fuck me I laughed so hard when you posted that picture.
