There's also a compounding effect this all causes. Two, that I can think of, off the top of my head.
First, Conservatives have been forced thanks to ~10 years of this crap to learn how to be persuasive to normies and at least inoffensive to the trannie jannies. You can always tell when there's a glowy fed or some retard from /pol/ (but I repeat myself) running around because they fuck it up. No one's saying Biden [REDACTED] but half the country would break out the good Bourbon if it happened. Conservatives have been forced to learn how to express their conservative viewpoints while keeping under the eye of sauron all this time, and it's taught them optics (to a certain degree), persuasion, diplomacy, yadda yadda. What's the left learned? "YOU AGREE WITH ME 100% ON EVERY BATSHIT IDEA THE POLYAMOROUS SQUIRRELS THAT LIVE IN MY SKULL SCREAM OUT AT ANY GIVEN SECOND OR I'LL HAVE YOU DESTROYED, YOU ISTAPHOBIC BIGOTZI!"
Second, and this was a major realization during early GamerGate -- the left has lost the ability to debate or argue their viewpoints. Literally, they can't do it. "Why is X racist?" "FUK YUUU NAZIIII!!!" or "You have to trust the lived experience of our pet negros as they are the saintly ones which know everything and cannot be disagreed with." "But I'm black." "FUK U YA COON!!!!" It all boils down to various variants of appeals to authority, reductio ad absurdum, genetic fallacy, what have you.
Why is diversity good? It's good because it's good. It's good because not being diverse is evil, so being diverse must be good. It's good because my handler told me that it's good and if I question "xier" I'll be thrown out of the tribe.
If you oppose the left they go into full on cancel culture destroy you mode because they don't know how else to act. They don't know how to react to "no" and they sure as shit don't know how to react to "lol, fat fucking nigger tranny, lol."
The longer they go on like this, the worse these effects get for them. Scott Adams is a bit of a meme and I'm not entirely certain he's not playing a long con of some kind, but he's brought the idea of persuasion (manipulation) to the right. The memelords are all on the right now. The techbros, the ones that actually do work, have always been libertarian as fuck (which is why the trannies have to put up codes of conduct outlawing meritocracy as an original and unforgivable cardinal sin of the tech world) and libertarians have been leaning rightward for decades ever since the left went fully batshit. And the left is only tripling down on cancel culture and dindu worship and the like because getting all those paste eating batshit retards that make up their "base" nowadays to think critically and do anything other than repeat NPC programming is just not happening.

He didn't ban Christianity or Orthodoxy, he expressed an intent to draft a law (not yet enacted AFAIK) banning churches that take direction from Moscow. Right now there aren't any such churches in Ukraine, officially, but given the Moscow Patriachate's longstanding role as a front for the FSB/SVR (and their predecessors), it is highly likely some UOC parishes still host their officers and agents. I think right now there are a couple dozen cases pending trial. Given the current status of Ukraine vis-a-vis Russia, i.e. being invaded and slaughtered by them, rooting out their agents is a reasonable measure.
And while this will be no less objectionable to Moscow sympathizers, the UOC has about half as many members as the OCU, so it's not the predominant religion no matter how one defines religion.

It wasn't that way pre-2016. The amount of useless mouths at trendy, big name tech firms ballooned during Trump's term as a way for them to avoid monopoly accusations and ward off politicians from regulating them.
Honestly, even if Musk hadn't bought the platform, Twitter would have probably engaged in some kind of mass layoffs just like Meta, Amazon and Microsoft just did. They have a quasi-friendly government in power and the economy is in the shitter enough that luxuries like being able to brag about your 50/50 male/female staff aren't worth it.
