The more I think about it, and I wish I hadn't, the more I think the Balldo is the most lolcow sex toy ever. Imagine seeing a hot woman and your thought is "I wanna ram my BALLS into her ASS while my dick flaps around in the breeze!" Who does that?
If the average person's response to the function of a sex act being described is "why?" I would say that's a strong metric for it being a lolcow sex act.

Anyway, the reason Catholics and Christians generally have concepts of confession and accountability is that it's really, really easy to start justifying things to yourself once you start a slide on a particular sin. It even switches very easily to celebrating it as something everyone should do, rather than examine why there might have been a taboo against it to begin with.
That's really simplifying the concept and missing the most important part. People with a functional morality system can recognize how wrong something is while they still partake in it even if it's a chemical addiction and will come to start hating themselves for it. They know they are the cause for their own hell and will rightfully find themselves the culprit and begin thinking poorly of themselves. But just laying blame on yourself doesn't actually lead to you fixing your problem, it just makes you more reliant on those coping mechanisms while increasing the risk of self harm. But if God forgives you, then you can also forgive yourself and actually fix your problem.
I think people saw Nick's religiosity, even if imperfect, as the guardrail he set up to show that he understood that boundaries are good and can save you from a lot of headaches. That would make his libertarianism a lot better developed than most public discourse about it, because he could articulate that it's not a complete free-for-all and there are things you should do or things you should avoid, even if the government isn't making you do any of that. But Hedonism II is such a huge personal carveout that I don't think he's thought it through as much as I'd thought.
I don't buy anyone who claims any form of spirituality without practice or community. "I'm Christian but not of any specific denomination and I don't go to church or pray outside of desperate moments" it nothing but lazy people trying to appeal to actual Christians. It's worse than those who claim things like "I was raised Catholic" cause that is not really meaning to be deceitful.
Nick gives the energy of a man that has to project an image that he believes those around him find appealing but himself doesn't care for it.
He's a family man because he believes his broader family and audience thing that's a good thing.
He's spiritual because people he believes his sphere thinks that's a good thing.
He's a degenerate because he believes his friends think that would be cool.
Deep down the man doesn't actually have a personality nor does he stand for anything. And I don't think that's a problem as I only watched his show for the funny guests that used him as a sounding board. But now people who expect something, anything of him are realizing how all over the place he is.

I have a hard time believing anyone going there isn't a swinger or at least open to it.
Here's a diary blog where they repeatedly mention "playtime with our friends" but don't go into details. https://www.evolveyourintimacy.com/post/our-hedonism-ii-diary
"Lifestyle" means swinging, yes.

Call me crazy but I don’t think taking out your big binder marked ETHAN OLIVER RALPH FALSEHOODS and making arguments like “Well ackshually, we can see from the angle of the bottle that it did not penetrate the sphincter and therefore no act of sodomy took place” or “We don’t know if they went to Hedonism II to swing. They may have instead selected it for the buffet, which is complimented in 26% of reviews” will be effective damage control here

Well said.

So now that the autism has died down a bit I can post this. The "Caribbean" resort Nick is super secretive about is called Hedonism 2.

You can see he is wearing the Jamaican flag swimwear and the Graffiti matches. That and the poses match as well.

Don't say you want something to be a secret, then post details from it.
I am so glad my parents don't have pictures like this floating around online.

So primarily it's monogamous couples visiting this resort looking to "spice" up their sex lives? And the way you described it, the focus is on the woman? So logically you would assume that the husband is looking for someone to fuck his wife.
Honestly mate, you keep some odd company, if what you've said is true.
That's a possibility. As or possibly more likely is they bring in a girl, or they hook up with another couple either for a full swing (swap partners) or soft swing (girls interact but only have PIV with their own partners, or some other no-homo configuration, or anything goes ). Or they went full bukkake or dungeon but probably more likely the regular stuff.

So do we consider swinging to be a form of cuckoldry?
Yes.

I think people are looking way too much into his character for these things. I have always been of the opinion that fame and money don't necessarily corrupt a person and suddenly make them hedonistic and degenerate. It is generally the case that excessive amounts of money and fame exacerbate minor character flaws. For example, someone who has a minor drinking problem would likely become a full-blown alcoholic. Or maybe someone who enjoys a bit of gambling every once and a while is likely to become a chronic gambler and lose millions.

Most people are kept in check by their financial inability to take their vices to the extremes, money doesn't create the vices, it only gives people the ability to take them to insanely high levels.

In Nick's case it's likely he had a habit of taking risque photos with his wife, which surprisingly is something a lot of couples do, especially affluent ones. I remember a buddy of mine talking about how his extremely liberal parents (both of whom were Doctors) took photos of themselves semi-naked next to an old General Lee car, confederate flag and all.

You take that relatively minor perversion and add in a discord with however many thousands of people, yeah it's gonna be a lot worse. It's surprising that a guy as smart as Nick can't notice that behavior in himself, but I suppose character flaws are most obscured to the person suffering them.
Not to moral or philosophy fag, but I'm with you, on seeing money as an amplifier more than something that changes you. If you're content in an aspect of your life, you're less likely to dump mountains of cash to try and makeup for lost time. Not saying you can't or won't upgrade, maybe get that dream car/house/etc you always wanted; but only the truly damaged and unhappy will move to fill that void with a Beverly Hills mansion and a garage full of Lambourghinis. Just turn a house/car/whatever into the vice, and watch the person burn out on it.

I don't want to cross the line into hyperbolic a-logging but this situation is not unlike Jack Murphy, just to a far lesser extreme. From the time I started watching Rackets during the Rittenhouse trial, he has repeatedly tried to sell his brand of masculinity to depressed young men and will whip out the "you are loved, valuable and I understand you" monologue every week or two and has profited immensely from that. Nick now tries to say that everyone was pushing their beliefs and values onto him and defining him in ways he hadn't defined himself. Not only would that be a lie based upon the public persona he has fostered, he has repeatedly defined himself in his own words as a conservative, Christian values family man and it's been shown multiple times in this thread already like during his interview with Jesse Lee Peterson.

I could not care less if someone wants to swing and be all libertine in their private life. But Nick has made increasingly large parts of his private life public and it contradicts the image of himself he's been pushing and profiting off of, so I will point out the hypocrisy and laugh when it strays into lolcow territory.

While I think it was something during his Jamaica trip that really changed how Nick has been acting
It's not like you can undo your wife getting plowed by a mandingo. He's probably trying to lean into it to find somewhere fun enough to make up for that happening (he won't find it). I wasn't 100% sure his thread needed to move before but now I am certain. Kind of funny to see how many people got Goldman-Murphy'd here.

So is someone who uses a balldo called a "balldoer"?

And what's the act called? I'm not sure if there's a word for ramming your testicles into someone's hole like that. Aggressive teabagging? Sandbagging? Plonking?
