Just a point here.

People are talking about CWC's legal history being a barrier to employment. Keep in mind that there are people out there who literally shot someone in the face twenty years ago, and now that they're out of prison, they have a job.

Companies like Ace hardware, Frito-lay, Dupont, Dollar tree, Tyson Foods & many others have a history of giving felons a second chance at things. Actual felons. Not people with a handful of little shit under their belt like OPL. And keep in mind that CWC hasn't spent a day in prison. Also, The Red Cross, Salvation Army and a lot of churches have systems in place for the same.

His "bad" legal history isn't a barrier to him gaining employment. His shitty attitude & laziness is.

And even if that fails, Oldham Athletic will eat him up, seeing as they've had a murderer playing on their first team and would have had a rapist too if SJWs didn't decide they instantly supported the team and protested his signing.

Realistically, would he ever need a job? Nothing's gonna stop the tugboat, and his needs are so minimal that there's not a lot of incentive for him to put in the effort to find gainful employment.

It's a moot point since he is mentally unable to work. He'll live in poverty, die relatively young, and spend a fair amount of time behind bars.

Well what about when Barb dies? Any income she had will be null and void and he'll only have the tugboat. That's not gonna be enough for bills, food, and his toys and video games (which he will not be able to resist buying)

Eh, yes and no. There are jobs out there for mentally challenged people. Chris is capable of doing menial work in terms of mental ability. What's stopping him is that he feels no shame in just farting around all day collecting handouts. It's more of an attitude problem than a mental problem if that makes sense.

Depends on how much Barb is leeching off Chris. If its a decent amount a month then Barbs death could help Chris. If its not then the property tax alone could hurt his tugboat. @Marvin Do we know who pays the utility bills and other household expenses?

Who pays them, as in, who funds their situation?

Barb probably physically writes checks for things directly related to the house like the mortgage and the utility bills. Chris pays his car payments, maybe internet, maybe the phone bill. Chris also buys the food.

Now, the source of the money for these things is a mixture of the two. When their financial situation is comfortable, Barb has no need to dip into Chris' tugboat, and things are probably pretty equitable. Chris pays his part, Barb pays her part. They'll pitch in on things together and they probably don't keep track of who pays for what, because it doesn't really matter.

When their financial situation isn't comfortable, Barb just tells Chris every so often to transfer her some money. It becomes very uneven if Barb's not doing so well.

In a post-Barb world, I don't think the amount of property tax is the issue, so much as the timing of it. Chris can handle monthly bills. Annual bills might be a continual surprise for him for awhile.

Do we have an estimate on what the property tax would be?

Trulia says they owed just over $1k for 2015's property tax.

What if Chris got a job where he has to do customer service and the customer wore a shirt with blue sleeves?

Chris would probably use the Sonic chain to flaunt his tranny dynamic. Assuming he doesn't "hate" Sonic Drive-Thru nowadays.

That's not too bad.

I would imagine that for quite a few years, every year, Chris would forget about it until he gets the notice. Stress sigh and whine a lot, but manage to scrape together the funds. $1k isn't that much by Chris standards.

Isn't tax a periodically one time deal that you are supposed to pay at once, so technically it's $1k in savings in advance unless he is willing to go late and possibly deal with penalties? Chris couldn't even save $500 for a PeeAssFoe.

Greene County allows property taxes to be paid in two installments. Half of the bill is due in June and the other in December. The Chandlers currently pay about $1,200 a year, according to public records, so Chris would need to keep $600 in reserve every six months.

Then basically we can look forward to an influx of begging videos every six months starting when Barb dies.

Do we know how much Barb gets from her pensions and SSI? If Im correct if the mortgage isnt paid off it may be rough for him at the start when Barb dies. The food bills will go down and so will the utilities but he will still need to get the hang of paying stuff he hasnt paid before.
