Someone in chat said Portal.
Portal might be a good game to play. It's old enough that there are definitely people in the audience who haven't played it, and if Null hasn't played it it'll be fun to watch him navigate the puzzles.

And now I feel old because I remember buying Portal on the Orange Box.

Man, Amnesia was hard for me to watch. I spent most of the first stream only listening to it in the background, because I quickly got nauseous from my eyes and brain constantly trying to compensate for the extreme darkness, narrow FOV and the game going overboard with blurring and shaking. The youtube encoding(?) seems to really hate dark environments too, causing it to artifact and pixelate like crazy. Not sure if theres room to increase the bitrate or anything.

It felt a lot better in the second stream, after you increased the brightness. The game itself was very meh in comparison to Outlast or Alien. The gunt jokes are what made it entertaining. Looking forward to the next one.
I think those games are just very dark in general, and Youtube has a habit of washing out colors so if you're not doctoring the footage you'll end up with essentially a black screen if you're not careful. Now that Josh has gotten the meme game out of the way with Machine for Pigs, I'd like to see how he likes Dark Descent, which is the superior Amnesia game and one of my top picks if not top pick for best horror game.

rimworld WHEN???
biotech is so based. send out expeditions to murder all furfag tribes around you
Null addressed a Rimworld game suggestion saying he doesn’t think it would be a very good fit because Rimworld games can be quite personal when playing and Null likes to start and stop saves a lot which would probably drive people crazy.

I personally agree with Null.

The most important.
Rimworld is boring as fuck to watch.

Josh should stream the game Infra, its technically not a horror game, but its pretty spooky, and its a walking sim

I'm starting to think that perhaps we ought to have a thread specifically for suggesting media content, though I'm not sure if it will be seen regularly or at all. It just seems as though this thread has turned into game suggestions and not much discussion of the show. What do you think, @Null ? You're the one the content is being suggested to, so your thoughts are the ones that actually matter here.

What do you think, @Null
We need an update on the Eau De Gunt-saga

True. I still need to know if he'll accept some little 5/8 dram samples of scents in the mail. He addressed my question about cards and letters, but not the scents, and I want to make sure I'm not throwing multiple phials of some really nice stuff into the void. I get it for multiple reasons if the answer is "no", I just need to know before the PO box saga starts.

thread is slow enough to read all of it as is

@Null would you ever consider playing Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy on a stream? I'm sure the audience would be amused.
watching 30 seconds of that shit makes me want to kill myself. i do not enjoy being frustrated.

@Null are you looking into getting a car? Most "affordable" new cars have most if not all of the modern safety features without the "smart" bullshit.

It’s true, connectivity is usually a “premium” feature found only on higher end models and brands.
If you hate the idea of electronics in general then you need to go back to mid 90s diesel economy cars - Ford, Peugeot etc. Rip the radio out and you’ll be down to 0 computers.

I think he wants the best of both worlds, the safety offered by modern cars is unparalleled but he doesn't want to have to deal with "smart" bullshit which I can understand. Cars from 90s are plenty safe for most types of accidents but it's hard to ignore the vast gulf between the safety tech and cars then and vs now, hell even in the last 15 years there's a missive difference. A lot of it is being driven by new regulation so even new cheap cars get a lot of the same tech and construction that would've made them premium 10, 15 years ago. That's expensive so costs have to be cut somewhere, it's why cheap cars often have lackluster interiors and are lacking in pretty much any tech that isn't a CD player.
