Some people may call this an extension of his hatred for his Asian heritage, Asians don't have blonde hair, westerners do, so he wants to get as close as possible to blondness and make blond offspring. Yeah, IMO, not being able to get laid was really just the apex of Rodger’s issues. If you actually pay attention to what he says it’s clear he just feels entitled to the entire world. I’m autistic about this topic but imo Elliot is one of the very few killers who was just born like that. Nothing could fix him. He was a very rare case of having just been born fucked up. His parents did EVERYTHING they could to fix him from a very young age and he still turned out this bad. Sometimes, if very rarely, there’s truly nothing you can do

There was no saving Elliot. He was an antisocial, narcissistic, sociopathic, spoiled autist. He was born broken, and absolutely nothing could have changed that.

One of the most hilarious parts of the manifesto is when he says he wants to turn his apartment into a torture/murder chamber, and he will lure pretty blonde people into it "with some form of trickery". I would probably fuck his mom and become Elliot step-dad.

I believe he needed a strong masculine role model, something his real dad wasn't. He was an artsy faggot and Elliot took that as role model.

My first thing as his step-dad would be to shake his hand, look at his eyes and told him he has a nice grip (i would lie of course). That would make him more comfortable with me, so I would probably make him work and do stuff with me, eventually find him a boyfriend free girl (brunette not blond) to hang out (possible latina because they don't take no shit).

Eventually Elliot would have become a normal human being and would cringe everytime he remembered how he was.

Nah they were overly protective this is what spoiled him. Chris has also been told he is special so much he became what he is now.
Sometimes you have to push your kids for their own wellbeing, even if they are autistic. He saved his little brothers life once and there are no signs of him abusing animals in his manifesto afaik, so he wasn't totally warped from the start.

I actually did notice that and I find it kind of wild that you made this post, because I was literally just looking through that stuff as I caught this. It’s honestly a tough call. I can’t find either of them to really be credible, and both are quite persistent about pushing their narrative. Ultimately, I kind of see it in both ways. Basically, I think his parents used him as a pawn for their own bullshit, and on the other hand, I don’t necessarily blame a lot of their behavior towards the end, because they probably did reach their breaking point. Fascinating story. Kid gets spoiled his entire life. Always gets what he wants. Goes broke and can’t get what he wants, and no tantrum he throws can change that. Even apart from that, no amount of bitching would ever make him attractive to a woman.

It blows my mind that one dude got so obsessed with sex, believing it would be the answer to his problems and if he couldn’t get it, he was just going to try to kill as many people as possible.
