And then the new generation comes and they are so fucked in the head that most are into both. As this is happening old artists and writers start catering to the new money and starts to cause a lot of dedicated ABs and DLs to go ABDL. Suddenly both these groups are into the backlog of the artist from their former opposite side creating a surge of interactions on sites like FA and twitter. On these sites massive influx of new clicks leads to better placement in recommended and search results which leads back to more clicks (including a large portion of the sissie and by extension tf communities who merely were never exposed and now join.). Some new onlookers see this and go WTF but since they are not fighting eachother and their activity is high due to a content “renaissance “ when they get defensive they notice how large their numbers truly are. Seeing that they have a significantly large crowd to back them up in twitters algorithm they become louder and bolder, the first step to normalization.
