If I saw this right she's the responder here. It comes off as so fake, I think she had to mimic her husband's discomfort with the whole process. The most painful process of her entire life? They act almost more like flatmates than husband and wife, if that. He seems more into her than she is into him - I haven't followed Jake much but remember reading his twitter around 2014 E3 when he was left back at home and he pined way more for her than she did. It probably didn't help matters that Nintendo nerds started thirsting for her due to the E3 Treehouse coverage (which is why she's mistaken for Treehouse when she's a PR mook) so that might of increased the amount of attention she was getting that wasn't him.
The thing is unlike other SJW Cucks like Lifshitz or Burch where they are honest true believers or pretty aggressive, Jake isn't even that - he's a decent guy that's just trying so hard to buy into the situation he's in which kinda makes it sad. He's just trying to do right by the person he loves, even though she clearly doesn't return the favour in the way she should
