Also, would it be fair or unfair to say that this has almost reached Nyberg levels yet? Extreme denial brought on by letting an ideology cover the facts, an attempt to groom someone into sexual acts that they were uncomfortable with (something Rapp was much more successful with than Nyberg), and now you have Dobson acting as her Todd in the Shadows.
The only thing missing is the inverted dick, and considering that we've nearly filled out the bingo pieces already, I don't think that's far off.

Going to have to dissent on the grounds Wynne made it clear he tried to give Rapp a chance to comment, but she slammed the door in his face, and let's face it, this is a newsworthy event in one way or another (either to prove/disprove harassment was the real reason Rapp was canned or if Nintendo had good cause to let her go considering the public furor over different matter prior)
Further, Wynne reported what he knew to be true based on existing evidence of the available event, and promised to make immediate apologies for any errors (which he told no less than Mark Bernstein on Twitter)
Wynne isn't a big fan of GamerGate himself, and that's immaterial, he covered this event as neutrally and as ethically as the parties involved made it possible.

The JPN version of Xenoblade Chronicles X let you decide the breast size of your female character in character creation via a "boob slider", a meter where pulling it one way made her breath bigger, pulling it the other way made them smaller. Think Saints Row character creater. The localization team removed it for the NA release.

Nintendo of America localized the Xenoblade game and removed content including the 'boob slider' for female character creation, references to religion and philosophy, and changed some of the clothing such as changing a Japanese underwear style to boxer shorts.

At the end of the linked article it says, "Gamers are also worried deeply about the Western release of Fire Emblem: Fates, which some feel may end up being heavily censored as well."
I think Xenoblade and Fire Emblem were both localized by Treehouse (where Rapp was), the latter was for sure which is how she got involved when she started mouthing off when people got pissed at the things they did to that game.

To be fair, the usual suspects over on 'the other side' of this issue leapt straight into clickbait copy about how Nintendo "refused to stand by" their worker because she was "harassed". They did not get NoA's official word on this and they had to release a gritted teeth statement on the subject the next day when people decided to run off with whatever narrative they had decided to go with. The Lie was already half way around the world when NoA would've preferred the matter dealt with quietly.
The fact that Wynne at least offered Rapp to comment on these 'allegations' shows more professionalism than the rest of the clickbaiter-slime put together, and the fact Rapp is currently running from the problem rather than even remotely defend herself, or laughing her ass off publicly points to it being the gospel truth.
This would normally be left with the line at the bottom or some such of "Subject was unavailable for comment."

As it currently stands, there are no winners here bar the Farms.
I strongly suspect NoA will have to deal with this issue more root and branch, and it will be passed off as "further internal restructuring" publicly.
It will see people shunted to the side if not sacked for not doing proper background checks. Anyone who even spoke to Rapp in more than friendly terms should be sweating bullets right now, especially the managers who dismissed concerns when first brought up.
The Regginator is certainly aware of the situation, this much we can take as a certainty, whether he will have to intervene or at least seen to be intervening has yet to be determined.
I for one quite like the thought of the most imposing man ever placed into Nintendo's corporate structure kicking the door in on the Treehouse Subdivision demanding to know how the hell something went so badly wrong on so many levels.

That being said, there's another mysterious player out there that intrigues me.
Rapp's escort website was supposedly first archived around a month before this thread even began. Right at the start of the storm breaking, now some of us have said "Ah it's whoever was investigating her for Nintendo." if that was the case, why archive.is it so publicly?
Surely saving the web-pages and providing an attachment to the internal systems at Nintendo would be more than sufficient proof?
This means that there's someone else at play out there who found this, archived it to ensure it wouldn't dissapear, then sat on the information or only sent it off to Nintendo before we stumbled across it.
Someone either knew what Rapp was up to and decided to object, or she shared this information with someone and then pissed that person off.
Considering the long list of people that Rapp managed to antagonize, it could've been just about anyone.
My two theories on this would be:
Jake: Considering Alison abandoned her own husband on Valentine's Day of all days to work her second job, I can see something in the man finally break, backing it up and sending it off to make her actually dependent on him as opposed to using him as a 'safe zone' and walking ATM. It's a very passive aggressive way of dealing with the issue and would fit entirely into what we currently know of him. EDIT: Still keeping it as a possible theory, but on discovery of "Beau Parker" I'm now not so sure. Could be a possible cry for help.
Thirsty Fan: Possible a fan got a bit close to Rapp, people bought her lingerie after all, wanted to get down and dirty only for Rapp to slap them with her fees and website for her time. This could piss off any mi'ladying neckbeard upon discovering that the 'sex positive' feminist is just selling her body for yet more cash rather than enjoying sex for the fun it is. Cue revenge, backing up of the site and firing it off to NoA's complaints dept, triggering an investigation.

I'm glad Nintendo has said jack-shit since they fired her. A short statement that said enough in itself was all they needed. A lot of companies would have made some long apology after a backlash like they did for her firing but they know better.
This is probably the case. A look over Jake's social media tells you he has a dependent personality. He wouldn't do anything to sabotage their relationship

Except she's BPD so she freaks out and keeps freaking out.
I said earlier that she might have been composed at work but I'm pretty sure she must have chimped out on a john, Also she got talked to about getting super political long before gamergate... and they were even spiteful enough to take her badges.
I bet she wasn't the most popular person in the office, she probably had people who thought she was a super sweetheart or something but not everyone.
EDIT: I'll throw my guess into the ring and say that her 1 star reviewer that she chimped out on is the guy who did it. STORY: She can't resist asserting how high class she is and talks all about her job. She's hurt when he really doesn't give a fuck, pays the bill and then suggests they get it on. She's not getting validation, she's feeling cheap and it's wrecking her high class whore fantasy. Boom.. freakout. Angry salty rules section added to her promo page and dude is out 250 dollars or more.
Also I'm sure she told tons of uninvolved people about her whoring, she was doing it all for attention and validation she wanted people to hear about how cool she was getting wined and dined by the dude from 50 shades of gray.
